I actually think they did hold back as far as Redknapp is concerned. According to them it was ALL the player fault. To the extent that they justified Harry just sitting down all game and not even trying to provide any impetus from the bench. They never once suggested that any of the blame for our "diabolical" performance was due to Redknapp and/or lack of coaching and preparation.

I am afraid it has been blatantly obvious for some time, certainly since last season, possibly since McLaren left, that these players are being given an easy ride in training and also in the amount of effort expected from them on the pitch. Fitness levels are clearly not good enough and too many players are therefore simply not working hard enough on the pitch. This is down to the manager and his staff; most players will only work as hard as they have to. I can certainly say that when I was playing that if I had put in as little work as many of our players are I would have not only been made fully aware of that by the manager but also by many of my team mates. It's quite clear that playing for QPR is seen as a soft option in the game in my view. |  | | |
