Personally think comparing Norwich and Swansea is a silly all things taken on board... Think the original post regards Norwich was just highlighting what could be achieved even with a bad start.
This season was always going to be one where we would settle for mid table and a start of another foundation to push on, basing it on that then it certainly as I have tried to explain to early to start worrying or making claims of doom and gloom. |  |

They are all prospects for massive fees. In line with what Farke had come through at Norwich. |
Piroe has too much for this league. If the club and Martin are wise enough they will pay good money to sort the midfield out. With Grimes on his bike I’d like to see that cash splashed on a good hard but technical overseas player . And to strengthen the defence let’s get Chico Flores back here - he’d bit our hands off and is a known ball playing centre half who could support a CDM well. If he’s fit and maybe a cheapie seems like a no brainer for me (though I suspect nearly everyone will disagree with me).
Up front we have a main man, we spent a million on him. I think keeping Joseph and chucking Cullen out on loan will be good cover with Whittaker and Lowe also up front) - get a CDM, CD and possibly a LWB and we could be off and running. |  |

We already bought two midfielders this summer it makes no sense to me that people think we'll need to replace Grimes when he leaves. Shopping done in advance, so we've got Fulton, Smith, Walsh, Downes and Williams for two places in midfield. Potentially Manning as well depending on where Martin sees him.

Personally I hope Grimes goes and Roberts stays.
Roberts is a Swansea boy and can do better than Burnley offer Connor the same deal as Grimes and I think he would take it.

"Swansea have not made a £5 million bid for Kevin Nisbet, Record Sport understands.
Reports from PLZ had suggested that the Swans had lodged a bid with the capital side.
However, it is understood that while the Championship side made an enquiry they were told £5million was the valuation of the Scotland cap.

What does he bring to the table in terms of all round play? Just looked on Wikipedia, 15 goals in 35 games in the SPL is impressive, but is it £5m impressive?
Two prolific seasons at Raith and Dunfermline before that. Is he a poacher, or someone who creates chances too? I’d expect quite a lot for that kind of money. | | | |

No crowds last season no parachute money and we have already signed 6 players this.

Yeah I agree, but I think it's more likely to be the other way round if anything.
However, I can't see Conor fitting in to Dyche's back 4. He's better off waiting for a club who plays in the way he likes. They will come along. | |
