This jackarmy site on 15:49 - Feb 10 by Parlay | Conflict of interest is an offence, yes. However it is also a generic term used every day in a multitude of situations as i pointed out yesterday which means a simple scenario where a persons thoughts may be swayed by a vested interest. In order to make this a criminal case we would have to provide specific proof to the standard required for the letter of the law. Its technicalities. Nobody is accusing Huw of the criminal sense of the term, we are making the generically used term to describe the situation where his personal business ties may change the way he acts out his role as trust board member. If you disagree with the term then thats fine. But i am happy to continue to use it under the caveat that I do not believe that this conflict of interest satisfies the technical law definition but certainly the commonly used phrase used daily to describe this sort of scenario. This jackarmy site on 21:51 - Feb 10 by sixpenses | How could you get someone sacked from their job if they had done nothing to deserve that If they had done something that could easily lead to disciplinary action or suspension then there is a good reason for that and possibly it is our responsibility not to cover it up especially if there are children involved. |
I know 2 parents with kids in his school. The kids and parents read this site and his comments. it was advice not a threat. Very good advice as the dad was livid over a subsequent post made, drinking from the..... cup. moving on....

Then you are allowing your agenda to blind you to the obvious differences. I didnt expect anything less. Signed poster on the way.

This jackarmy site on 14:01 - Feb 10 by sixpenses | Conflict of Interest.......... A situation that has the potential to undermine the impartiality of a person because of the possibility of a clash between the person's self-interest and professional interest or public interest Are you saying that does not already exist - read it carefully twice Too many people jumping to conclusions here What about a shareholder that wants to sell v them giving impartial advice re the clubs future - again conflict of interests Let us take a solicitor who represents 2 opposing clients. Regardless of how that solicitor does their utmost to be painfully fair, they are still acting in conflict of interests which is a serious professional issue for them because they cannot commit 100% to either side. |
Ah, found it, buried in the more important matters of Parlay's rampant anti-semitism. References to bacon everywhere, which I find highly offensive. I have jewish family. Anyway, to your point. I read it carefully, checked it twice, and decided it's not a very good definition of conflict of interest. It doesn't, for example, deal with your solicitor example as that refers to a clash between two professional interests - not a clash between professional or public interest versus self interest. Your solicitor has no self interest in that example. If you had a better definition of conflict of interest, I'll give it a shot but at the moment its impossible to answer. Anyway, back on topic. Now we've dealt with flexible swine products and traditional meat based products made of offal and offcuts, who on here has a strong prediliction for a nicely turned out Dutch sausage?

Liar again, you realise that 8 pages passed and lots saw it. you are the worse liar i know, yet had lots of practise. do you want me to ask the question 1 by 1 to all the posters who saw it ? You are looking a right tw:t. Why lie, it weakens your future and past arguments. i will start now if you like, each poster that saw it . You admitting you were a racist homophobe, hang your head in shame as you would have a field day if shoe on other foot. luckily i am a bigger man than you, unless you deny / lie again. Grow up and admit your error. It will haunt you.
