And I don't find its use ironic - it is simply offensive. I have to say that I have never noticed Warwick using homophobic language - perhaps he can confirm whether that is the case.

At the end of the day, I agree with your stance if it is genuine. However, I can't help feel that you are simply being argumentative rather than genuine on this point. It may be that you think you are genuine but resort to foul homophobic abuse when you are riled?
Unfortunately, that is true of many in life - same with racism. We only know that we are truly free of racism or homophobia when we can argue with those we disagree with without resorting to such slurs.
If you are genuinely against that type of language then I applaud you - however, I would suggest that you don't resort to using it yourself simply because you are angry - however ironic you may believe that you are being. It is unacceptable. |
