42 points, only four worse off than last season and five worse than two years ago, not too shabby at all.

Monk also has 18 points from 14 games, which would be >48 over a whole season.

I think Sunderland will win comfortably. They're on excellent form while we are experimenting ready for next season.

2-0 Sunderland.

Some still won't be happy though,in fact today's result will really have upset them.

I liked the look of Fulton.

Emnes will probably be a good squad player - let's hope he's not just playing for a move.

Poz & Canas are gonners, hopefully Tiendalli can find another club.

Hopefully we can sign JDG, another winger, goalkeeper, right back and a striker (Borini loan perhaps)

I really feel sorry for everyone who has made the long trip to Sunderland. We should definitely have played our strongest side in our final game of the season.Bloody ridiculous!!

Well done Gary Monk

My thought from the match...

Emnes - Get him signed up! Again a constant attacking threat!

Amat - too many errors

Taylor - Needs to look at himself and bring his once awesome defensive work back into the fray

But in the end it was a back four who haven't played a proper match together yet - against a full Sunderland squad who were buoyed by their staying in the Premier League.

Great start as full manager for Monk.

It's win/win.

We lose - we were giving players a chance before the end of the season to let them prove they deserve to stay

We win - Garry Monk is a football genius

The only people who lose are the fans who spent upwards of £60 each to go to the game today expecting to see a strong Swansea team do their all to win the game.

So, genius it is then.

Yep.

Any chance to have a pop and they will.

Great end to the season, good work by Monk and a decent loan showing by the boards mate and worst player in the championship Emnes

Would really like us to go after Seb Larsson.

Out of contract so potentially a go-er.

That can't be right JF. All the moaners were saying that Monks record was palpably awful. Over a whole third of a season under enormous pressure and without time to really think about his apprach it surely can't be pro-rata better than any premier league manager we've had?

I didn't realise you picked a side because of how much the travelling fans were paying, how far they'd gone and what they were expecting.

Maybe they could have had a vote on the way up to select the side
