Any idea on the SheffWed take-up of tickets and how many sold?
8255 to beat.
I'd be surprised if we matched the previous attendance. Playing Leeds felt more of an event and therefore was more likely to bring people out of the woodwork. We've played Wednesday quite a few times in recent years.

Got mine after the match yesterday and there were plenty of multiples being bought, one guy bought 6, another guy had 5 and there were quite a few in the queue before and after the game. Was also talking to a Wednesday fan who had bought a few, to give him his due he did end up buying one for yesterday too and ended up in the Sandy after asking me for directions.....Let's hope for no hassle from those who do end up in the home end...

If they sell their full allocation of 3400.......can we make up the other 5k?
Agree,it's not got the furore of the Leeds game,YET.
Hopefully all those that came to leeds will at least be considering coming!! If not then there is no more we can do on the pitch. The product is as attractive as it gets!!!
I agree we need to aim for 5000 Dale fans and that would be fantastic..
If Wednesday sell out then we have another cracking atmosphere to look forward too.

There's no Premiership fixtures and looking at what else is on around here, Accy v Bury is the most attractive match........the decision is yours?

there's no reason why every home fan who came against leeds shouldn't come next weekend its the 4th round of the FA cup ffs
agree that there isnt as much hype as the leeds game but the style in which we beat them and the fact we are a round further in the competition should mean the clubs advertising of fixture can go into overdrive next week
Whilst I'd love to be proven wrong, I'll be shocked if we sell anything near our allocation. We took 1850 to Burnley yesterday, and I don't know if there is a huge demand for the game.
I reckon the FA Cup, and a decent day out in Greater Manchester will, however, add a few to our following, and I would say we'll bring circa. 2k

Surely more than 2000 will hop over Adam the Owl?
Your shower had more than that at the Moss Rose in last round........are you coming over for instance?
We will look after you,and it's not that far.

When collecting my ticket the guy in front wanted two adjoining stand seats - he got the last pair. All that remained were single seats and not too many of those.

It would appear that I have hugely underestimated Wednesday's support - as of close of business today, there were only 300 tickets left on the away end, so I'd presume we'll have sold out by this time tomorrow!!
Good on both clubs, and I hope it makes for a good atmosphere (although I hope the celebrations are coming from the away end after 3pm)
