It would appear that I have hugely underestimated Wednesday's support - as of close of business today, there were only 300 tickets left on the away end, so I'd presume we'll have sold out by this time tomorrow!!
Good on both clubs, and I hope it makes for a good atmosphere (although I hope the celebrations are coming from the away end after 3pm)
Never doubted they would - both occasions they visited Spotland in Lge1 they sold out their allocations - now in the Championship and on the back of a good run of form. Should be another cracker.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
With Man U out of the Cup surely the Rochdale Reds will get behind us. I'm asking as I meet some of them to pick up the phone and join us. If we all do this then we can get our totaliser to the top. Word of mouth : another powerful marketing tool.

I can't say I ever imagined a FIR song to posted on this forum but hey there you go! My old man's a Leeds fan and came to watch us in the last round. Despite them getting beaten, he enjoyed the experience so much that he's coming on Saturday as well..in fact he asked me about going before I even had the chance to ask him!

Well tonights fantastic finish might persuade a few undecideds to bite the bullet and go. I hope the club really push on and send emails, update official site etc etc.
Lets not forget our own friends / colleagues / neighbours as well that might not have made their mind up yet - a gentle nudge might be all it takes to get them down there and buy a ticket

Looking good though for another 8000 + crowd.

Will be having a beer en-route - town centre with sky sports on?
Thanks in advance to any Dale fan who can suggest a decent pub.

To enjoy a trip to Dale to its fullest you need to get to Spotland quickly, bypassing the town centre which has some neanderthals. There are two pubs/bars on the club car park plus the best chippy in England opposite the away turnstiles. Treat yourself to Rag Pudding and Chips!
Rochdale away is bizarre in that the nearer the ground you get, the warmer the welcome will be. We're just pleased you've come!
If you're a real ale nut, seek out the Cemetery Hotel - Tim Taylors and 12 minute walk to the ground.
