Pitch update on 19:05 - Jan 5 by Rodingdale | Sorry - incorrect. Bought three tickets for the Boston game. Not had chance to seek a refund - but nothing authentic about it. Heard nowt. |
As the Boston tickets will be valid for the re-arranged match they won't be automatically refunded unless you ask for it. I am sure if you bought them electronically, a quick call or email to the club would sort that. The Stockton tickets are a different matter and most of our fans won't have an inconvenient trip to get a refund is all I was saying - assuming that the ticket system works as intended and they have stored all of our payment details.

Not sure it will have started yet James.. the snow (and cold) has been pretty bad at Spotland the last 48 hours. The forecast is set to improve dramatically though.

If this pitch problem had happened last January, after Simon Gauge had admitted he had run out of funding to keep the club afloat, Chris Dumphy had offered to take over the club then changed his mind, and there was no sign of the Ogden family on the horizon, then the cost of the pitch and the lost income would almost certainly have seen the end of things. We should all be grateful for our good fortune. UTD

Yeah, we know that It must, however, never be used as an excuse for complacency going forward. In fact, just the opposite [Post edited 7 Jan 10:06]

Temps are going to dip to minus 9 on Wednesday night and stay at negative figures until the weekend so I wouldnt have thought anyway will be done until the severe frost has gone

No complacency here. Not after 60 years. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
