I've always been curious about why people choose their particular photograph to go with their posts. And why some people don't put any photo up.
Even if you're choosing one of your own photos, you're making a decision about whether to post one from when you were younger or as you are today, and that's interesting.
Lord Bony's was of Peter Cushing, and I've no idea why, Darran for example posted a photo of him that would have been a great icon.
Mine is simple enough, I grew up in Gowerton and that's an Irish Water Spaniel (the largest of the spaniels) that reminds me of long, hot summers and splashing around in rivers.
So Karnataka, Lohengrin and everyone else, what's the story behind the photo? And I've always wondered why Lohengrin's pic is Godfrey from Dad's Army. https://spartacus-educational.com/FWWridleyA.htm
Fashions come and go but style is a different thing
I've worn all kinds of ADIDAS trainers since the early 1980's and I love them I'm a ADIDAS trainers geek I'm not one to keep them clean and tidy in a box and collect. I've currently got 5 pairs on the go now

lol
The first ever recipient of a Planet Swans Lifetime Achievement Award.
I've had a tinfoil themed pic ever since Lord Bony arranged a tinfoil hat weekend a few years back, I think we had a thread where there was a football match between a Tinfoil 11 v a 'Normy' 11 or however it was phrased. It was all good humoured anyway. Since then I've had Leon, Bony, Renato Sanches (waste of effort that was!), Carvalhal, Clement and now Cooper. Wonder who will be next on the list...
If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever.

The woman in my picture is my favourite vocalist, Sharon den Adel who fronts my favourite band, Dutch rockers, Within Temptation. By a country mile, she also happens to be the most stunning woman I've ever actually met and talked to.

Don't diss Marie and Per , loves a bit of Roxette me !!!
I quite like Roxette too. Marie had a great voice, a real shame what happened to her. Within Temptation a lot heavier though but they're maybe the pop & rock ends of a similar European spectrum.
