The future for the U.K imo looks extremely bleak! And I guess the majority on here think that way also.

1. Recruit more officers - the Tories have cut the number of officers.
2. Invest more money in local policing and "social" services - the difficult one with the current state of the coffers of UK PLC.
These reduce the problems at source and if some scrote or anarchist chances their arm then riot police do their thing.
