QPR WANT NORWEGIAN FUTURE STAR
According to news outlets in Norway, QPR are interested in signing Tromso striker Lasse Nordas. Lasse is only 22 yet has heavily impressed during his career in Norway so far. He has featured for the Norway U21s on several occasions netting 3.
This season, he has 13 goal contributions within 28 games in the Eliteserien. He also netted 2 goals within the UECL qualifiers.
Valued at £1.5million, QPR are not the only club interested.

I'm finding myself in the strange situation of being unsure what areas we should look at strengthening, if we get an opportunity. Mainly out of not wanting to upset the balance.
- Jimmy should 100% stay where he is, and Colback can cover there.
- A Pal injury could be tricky - Fox is fine at CB but exposed at LB, so maybe the right kind of back up there?
- CBs we're suddenly fine
- Midfield, maybe an extra one if it comes up? Madsen for Morgan highlighted that.
- A forward looked the obvious choice - probably a loan, but again that would have to be the right player.
We absolutely can't go for it and fcuk ourselves financially, again. So none of them feel anywhere near as essential to me as they did 8 weeks ago. Not sure what others think? |  | | |

We are good at RB I think, for any prolonged period we'd be in trouble, but we do technically have 3 people for that position and a clear 1st choice. LB is similar. The ideal scenario is to get someone behind Paal that is capable of taking his spot full time next year, on the assumption he doesn't sign a new deal. But Nourry said a few times that it was agreed with Marti that Colback and Fox can both cover there if needed, and we've also had Ashby and even Saito fill in, so although I think it's a nice to have, I wouldn't say it's our priority.
For me the biggest need is a central midfielder - specifically an 8/10 style player like Morgan. Someone that can shuttle, press, and ideally contribute to the attack a little more. I love Field but he's only exceptional at the defensive side, and we have nobody like Morgan in the team, which isn't ideal considering his age. I'd still like to see us try Chair moving inside and have Saito take the LW spot, but the ideal scenario is a proper midfielder that is forward thinking and can chip in with goals - a Cameron Brannigan type.
Another forward or wide man with pace would also be good, although depending on if we're pushing the boat out for the 2nd half of the season or not, I think Kolli and Lloyd can probably provide that between them. That said if Frey goes down again for any length of time, I would worry about just having those 2 as our only options up front... |  |

If we can get LB in I think that has to be top of the priority list. Otherwise Ashby is coming in there to cover Paal and that's just asking for trouble even though he actually done a half decent job of it earlier in the season when Ken was injured. Definitely agree on any sort of extra pace we can inject in the team on the 'nice to have' list as if Smyth goes down there's not much of that elsewhere other than maybe Lloyd. There's a few rumours surfacing this morning that Sheff Utd might be interested in Jimmy Dunne. Hopefully not true! | | | |

Not disagreeing, but the issue is a proven version of that is beyond our means - even if 'proven' does exist at this level - and you'd struggle to bring Evan Ferguson to QPR even on FIFA.
The best chance most teams have is what we have done with Celar - find someone for a few million and hope they become a Gykores, Szmodic, Brereton, etc in time and with good coaching. | |

There is a simple reason for that, which Gallen knows full well. A ‘proven’ striker in January would set you back £10m+ which are waters QPR haven’t fished in for many years. | | | |
