Not a chance. Burnley won't sell nor need to. Gray would probably cost twice as much to pry away.

You should know better than that. What Burnley want is nothing to do with it. If Gray did want a move back down South he'd be off. The players hold all the cards now. Ask West Ham re Poyet and West Brom re Berinho etc etc.

To be fair Berahino isn't a good example. West Brom wouldn't let him go to Spurs 2 years ago for £20 million and he still hasn't left.

Gray has said he 'has no interest' in leaving Burnley.

“It is easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled”

Fair enough but how many other Premier League players have more or less gone on strike to get a move to another club ?

Rumours now circulating that Palace are in the mix! Could be agent talk trying to force West Ham's hand

Would prefer him to go to Crystal Palace, he may get lost in the West Ham should be a prem club playing in the Olympic stadium were as palace no there a team that will be fighting relegation and if Scott gets them mid table he will be a hero.

The only one I can honestly remember is Pierre Van Hooijdonk at Nottingham Forest.

Not sure but reading between the lines it might be the agent that is the problem in getting this deal done.

I'm sure there are more but Carlos Tevez and Dimitri Berbatov are two that spring to mind. Berinho will get his way in the end, it's just a matter of time.

Ben Marshall at Blackburn is apparently refusing to play this weekend because he wants a move to Swansea.

Berbatov wasn't on strike - he just didn't move that much!

£12 million! Absolutely crazy money for someone who hasn't played all season - not the £20 million they could have got a couple of years back but they must be thrilled he's finally gone.

If they can get him playing, and that's a big if, he's a better bet than Hogan to score goals at the top level. For less money also.

How many has Hogan scored at the top level ? Look at Jordan Rhodes - how many has he scored whilst playing for poor teams in the Championship, how many has he scored for ' Boro at the top level ?

From what I can see Rhodes has only started one game for Boro so I'm not convinced you comparison is realistic. It is true to say Boro paid £9m for him and are asking £10m for him from Aston Villa.

Attitude! Hogan has the right one and Berahino hasn't - Hogan will be a success when he moves - I believe that 100%.

Let's hope so and get this saga bottomed either way.......Hogan has n't played for weeks and must be itching to prove himself for whoever wants him.......and, we need the money.

Why do we 'need' the money?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I suspect we don't need the money. Though it would be nice to have new bogs in the main stand next to the lounge. I had my wedding reception in the main stain 22 years ago and I think the bogs haven't been touched since.
