Would assume so. Similar to the Lambert deal.

100% agree with this. Reduce our cut this time, and in the future it will be expected that we'll do it again. Sell-on clauses and the associated risk are part and parcel of football. The deal is what it is, we have to hold firm.

Yes. If it's profit on Scott Hogan, then 25-30% (whatever was agreed) of it is ours.

I'm guessing most of the add ons will be related to remaining in the Premiership

Unfortunately that was what was reported last week. £9 million down payment had been agreed between the clubs - but West Ham weren't prepared to pay the £6 million add ons - or Brentford weren't happy with the structure of the add ons. It seems to have stalled with no progress since Hogan was 'rested' last Saturday. Hopefully if Payet goes and they receive the £30 million they want it would surely have a positive effect on them getting Hogan. If it drags on beyond next weekend its not going to do anyone any good.

Hammers in for Hogan on 20:25 - Jan 17 with 6335 views | KenBoon | They paid us a rumoured £750,000 for Hogan. 33 appearances later they stand to sell him for £15,000,000. That's an increase in value of £432,000 per game. When you take our cut away it's still a bloody good bit of business. If anyone is getting a raw deal here then it's us. His increase in value per game must be amongst the highest in history.

But Brentford had to be patient whilst he recovered from two cruciate injuries. I suspect had either occured whilst at Dale, Scott's career path would have followed a diametrically opposes trajectory, so the original timing of the Brentford deal has probably benefitted all parties in the end.

Didn't the first one occur when he was with us..Bury away on a Friday night? or was that a different injury?

No he did have knee and ankle injuries at Dale - but nothing serious. He did his knee (cruciate) in his 1st away game for Brentford at Rotherham.

Not a chance. Burnley won't sell nor need to. Gray would probably cost twice as much to pry away.
