Thank god AMN is only on loan. Absolutely trash, didn't he realise we weren't playing in red. Looking forward to a massive clear out starting with manager & coaching staff.

It's not a team that understands each other—which, sadly, is unsurprising, because the board and the coaching staff are flailing about, in their respective vacuums, just as futilely. It's a whole season lost; it needn't have been.

In isolation our stats for this match alone was much better than previous games with getting foward more , looking threatning from corners etc. We are missing the ruthless poacher of goals... its a shame we didn't capitalise when we were on top for spells . .other than that same sh.it

Typical for our season of doom.

I did have a moan about the first goal conceded. It came from a quickly taken free kick , we switched off for a second or two but they took the free kick from the wrong place. Its an Unfair advantage . Yes im clutching but i cant believe this ref who is normally on it , let that go ? I almost expected var to intervene...but then i remembered that wouldnt fit the sky sports narrative .or should i say NFFCTV tonight , Sky need to Remember there is two teams tonight not just NF.

Looking forward to the Championship , though it will be a rude awakening . New Proper Manager and who knows .

Ps Funny seeing that twàt celebrate their 5th only for another lengthy chalk off .

Yes allsaint54 - AMN very poor tonight and your comment spot-on to Yosemite.

At least tonight we played as if we knew it was a 'must win'. We weren't good enough to win but even Selles realised that playing for a draw was pointless. It is scant consolation but it was a good match. Good luck to Forest. Looks like it is Leeds and Leicester joining us...

Compared to our recent outings, this was an entertaining match but ultimately we didn’t get anything out of it - as we should have done. Neither defence was great shakes, but Forest had the sharper eye for goal. Team selection looked right and we had more attacking intent than usual. Che had a disappointing outing and Alcaraz has a tendency to disappear - or lose his rag - when things don’t go his way. Bednarek seemed to be starting point for every attack - suggesting again we were a bit light on creativity in midfield. He, Walcott and Lavia have been consistent performers. Lyanco was a beast. Otherwise, no one stood out, other than AMN who was particularly poor.

Yeah another disappointment. But hey that has been our season. So many mental mistakes on and off the pitch. The only issue I had with the team selection was AMN at LB. KWP can play LB, so why not him there and then AMN on right where he is more comfortable. Also, knowing Johnson has so much speed, KWP would have been better on that side. Oh well now it is done and we need to concentrate on the Championship next season.

We are going down because we can't do the basics - pass, transition and mark.

You can pick on individual players failures in all these areas - I do frequently - but the the real underlying reasons behind these repeated errors lie in how this team was assembled and coached.

Unless these basic building blocks are resolved in the Championship, we are in for a lengthy stay.

Another abject performance to add to the list this season.

Forest had a few game changers. We've just got dross. Stuart Armstrong was the only one with any attacking purpose.

To be fair to AMN he was played totally out of position

And the sooner we get rid of that awful away kit the better!

So we are down and all I can really add is that, although this was not a great performance, we were actually on the front foot for most of the game. If we had played like this more often, particularly at home, we wouldn't be where we are!

Play the wrong team. Chase a loss with subs that should have started. Lose with aplomb. Rinse. Repeat.

AMN was absolutely dreadful. I appreciate he was out of position, but that can’t explain his sloppy passing and tendency to jog back.
