Thats incredibly harsh, did a great job keeping that side up in amongst the mess other clubs made of that season. Hope they go down next year now. Whoever gets O'Neil are getting themselves a good manager, just hope its not Leeds! |
When I said this, I didn't think they'd be attracting someone of Iraola's quality. Fair play, ambitious move. Could be the equivalent of when Southampton replaced Nigel Adkins with Pochettino. O'Neil though remains a super pick up for a Championship team and I really hope its not Leeds |  |

But on a serious note, these claims are very difficult for all concerned. There are definitely a few opportunist who target rich men but equally the power and prestige of careers in football also mean that there will also always be some who abuse their positions of power.
Very difficult to totally know which party is telling the truth but if it is a man who has lost his job as a consequence, le5s hope the reason is based on fact as opposed to being stung by unscrupulous individuals. [Post edited 22 Jun 2023 0:01]

Absolutely crazy decision, I can see that coming to bite them on the ass big time.
I know they've had a decent spell in the premier league over the last half a dozen years but they are a tiny club that are punching well.
