Agree never gave less than 100%. The current crop could learn from this.

Just reading he’s been with us 11 years and looking to play on elsewhere for a couple more. Be interesting to see what level he goes to.

Testimonial?

Stood out from the very first friendly I ever saw him in. Pound for pound one of the clubs greatest ever signings IMO.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Top player, top bloke. Bought for peanuts, one of our greatest ever defenders.

Hope he can extend his career somewhere in league one, which I'm sure he'll be able to.

Would be nice to have him back as a coach if he goes down that route.

Newport captain?

And stay living in Swansea, I'm sure he said he wasn't going to move from the area.

He’ll do a Martinez,
Go to play for a lower league team and then be our manager within a season.
Swansealona will be back in full force.

Would be nice.

Too true!.... and epitomised an era when the managers/scouting/player acquisition was top notch, a case if you have a system with the right people with the right contacts and the supreme ability to spot talent? The club will thrive with that type of professional approach. If not broke why fix it?

Now its a case of a rank-incompetent-buffoon of a failed roofing suppliers merchandiser thinking he's a D.o.F by randomly sticking pins into a list blindfolded and thinking Falkirk is the only talented young player conveyor belt in the entire world.

From complete professionalism to a ego/greed money driven self destructive farce more befitting of a black-comedy.

Argus!

Brilliant servant of the club. Scared the shit of of many PL wingers in our first couple of seasons. That crazy eye look!

Had a house built over the road. I can't see any way he'd uproot his family now. His wife wouldn't entertain it I'm certain. Genuinely nice bloke who always has time to talk to annoying fans like me about his beloved Swans.

Wouldn’t have minded another year out of him in the Championship tbh.

Deadwood.
Offers us little on the pitch anymore. Great servant and will be remembered affectionately but the start of the ‘clearing out’ process.

Brilliant attacking full back in his day. His link up play with Dyer was one of our strongest plays too. They murdered teams together.

I remember his debut against Oldham away. An Oldham player brushed passed him and he threw himself to the ground and rolled around continental style. It was right in front of us. We didnt half give him some stick, never saw him do it again. Pound for pound, prob top 3 signings. That game was the start of the journey for me, we lost 2 - 1 but some of the football was sublime. Happy days

I suspect so, it’s wishful thinking more than anything. He’d be ok if he’s anything like the back end of last season, but I imagine the injury and lack of game time this year have probably finished him off. Shame.
