Dale made a late swoop to bring back Dan Adshead on loan from Cheltenham Town.

Adshead who came up through the ranks at Dale joins on loan for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old made his Dale debut at 16 and was beginning to have an impact on the first team before a big money move to Norwich City came through. While at Carrow Road he had a loan spell at Gillingham before leaving the Canaries to sign for Cheltenham last summer.
