Tonight's game in hand due to a postponement, has now in fact also been called off less than 90 minutes before kick-off after the club joked earlier in the day and claimed no pitch inspection was even planned.

The club are tonight facing a huge, and fully deserved backlash from supporters following the postponement of a vital game in hand against Boston United.

The weather today has been more or less spells of light drizzle since the tweet that seemingly dismissed any fears of a postponement, putting into question the state of the pitch earlier when said tweet went out.

Quite where the club goes from here remains to be seen but in the wake of a much needed, morale boosting 4-0 win over Yeovil Town, tonight's news has gone down like a lead balloon among the fan base.

It's fair to say the club have some serious questions to answer and fans will get to ask those questions on Thursday night at the clubs fans forum, well, unless that gets postponed due to a waterlogged pitch too.
