Dale have dipped into the loan market by drafting in Liverpool right back Connor Randall on loan until January.

Described by one Liverpool fan as having "great potential", the 22 year old right back comes to the club on loan and is likely to go straight into the starting line up for Saturday's game with Walsall.

His footballing CV looks good with eight appearances for Liverpool's first team, and twenty plus games on loan at Hearts in the Scottish Premier League last season. He's been called up for England at youth levels and has captained Liverpool at a similar level.

The Liverpool FC official site describes him as "Randall relishes attacking teams down the right flank and he is always looking to use his strength to carry the ball into opposition territory and burst into the penalty area. The youngster also possesses a great passing range and the ability to pick the perfect pass."
