Dale boss John Coleman has finally signed long term target Bobby Grant from Scunthorpe on what is an undisclosed fee.

Grant has remained Coleman's number one choice throughout the Summer, and that chase finally ended today when Grant put pen to paper on a two year deal.

Grant had a successful loan spell at Spotland during the 2010-11 season, and he has worked with Coleman previously at Accrington Stanley.

He comes to Spotland having started all three league games for Scunny this season, and he scored twice in the memorable league Cup game with Derby.
