After missing out on the first round proper last season, Dale have been drawn at home to Bromley in this season's FA Cup first round.

Not exactly an exhilarating draw, as I'm sure Bromley fans will be saying too.

Dale have played Bromley in the FA Cup before, back in November 2017 where Dale were 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Brad Inman (2) and the GOAT Ian Henderson (2). Keith Hill's side went onto play Tottenham Hotspur in the 5th round, drawing 2-2 at home and taking the Premier League big guns to a replay at a very wintery Wembley Stadium.

We played Bromley in the league last season but could only manage one point from a possible six against the eventual playoff winners.

The game will be played on the weekend of 2nd November.
