Tim Sherwood coming to the Rs?
at 15:44 31 Oct 2015

According to Stan Colymore on Twitter Tim Sherwood is being sounded out of the Rs job.

If that happens will this be another manager who will be slaughtered by fans before he starts?

Griffin Park: Best Away Pubs in London
at 10:07 31 Oct 2015

How many away games can you go to in London, mix with the home fans and enjoy a drink in any of the pubs around the ground? It was a first for me. We started off in the New Inn and the only criteria for getting in was to have a match ticket. Not a QPR or a Brentford ticket ,just a match ticket. Fair play to Brentford's sensible policy of treating fans like adults and not being ruled by police advice to separate us fans.It would be good if the pubs around the Bush could adopt the same policy. However true to form of late a good pre match beer was spoilt by some dreadful football. COYRs

Hope psychologist Steve Black, slings his hook too!
at 20:26 3 Feb 2015

I am hoping that other recent signing sports psychologist Steve Black follows HR out of the door. As has been said on here before it is up to the management to motivate the team not a psych.

Calling All SE London Rs!
at 18:54 15 Oct 2013

So how many exiles living in SE London are going to make the short trip to the Den this Saturday? I and a few of us from Bexley are going tho' still debating whether colours will be worn, given the propensity for it to kick off these days. I am very tempted to sport my usual scarf and ancient QPR shirt, so I can give it the big U Rs shout on the way back home .

Oh West London......

Kranjar Playing for QPR EDS v Charlton Today
at 13:10 23 Sep 2013

Usual lunchtime spent looking at various sites relating to QPR. Just seen that Krancjar is named in the EDS squad against Charlton today. He must be very keen to get some games under his belt, especially as he only played on Saturday and hopefully this coming Saturday against Boro. Chimes in with what his OnlyHereForTheNiko said about him on here yesterday that he works hard to 'get himself in good condition & match-sharp.'

Also noticed that Hitchcock is playing in this game. Hope he gets some game time too on Saturday.

QPR Fans in the Yeovil Home Stand
at 19:31 16 Sep 2013

Judging from the posts on here it seems that there will be quite a few of us in the home stand at Yeovil on Saturday. Just wondering how we will make ourselves known to each other? A secret masonic handshake? Blue carnation? A whisper of 'URs!'

Or just wait until we score when we can come out loud and proud and give big shout of 'URs 1'

1:0 Wins: 'If you want entertainment go to the circus?'
at 21:10 15 Sep 2013

So said a manager in the 1970s ( I think?)....While watching yesterday's one nil win I kept thinking that if we had an entertaining footballer like Adel we would have scored more goals. You would be forgiven for thinking that the 18yd box had barbed wire around it with the lack of creativity. I think the nearest we got was Toilet's fluffed shot and JB's audacious bicycle kick. Hopefully as the team gels more and with the intro of Kranjčar and a match fit Matt Phillips we will get more goals.

I am not naive to think that AT wasn't disruptive and not the best team player etc, but some entertainment ala Adel Taarabt I certainly would be welcome at LR.

Who was QPR's Oddest Player?
at 12:42 27 Aug 2013

With the departure of Stephane Mbia I am struggling to think if the Rs have had a player as odd as him before? We have had our share of 'pyschos' and other types but have we had anyone as odd as Mbia?

TF’s Strategy for 2013/14 Season? — A Debate
at 21:50 6 May 2013

Hopefully you will not regard this debate a tad too early, with the season not quite over, but I think its worth debating the question — What will TF ‘s strategy be for getting the Rs up next season?

Whilst occupying the Chairman’s seat these past two seasons, as we all know to our cost, he has chosen to invest in expensive players and expensive managers.

Will things change? Will he resist the urge to spend, spend, spend, in the hope that this will get us promoted? By November when things have n’t gone quite to plan will he sack HR and will we have to start all over again? Or has he learnt his lesson?

More importantly will TF’s business interests allow him to learn this lesson that money alone can’t buy success? Somehow I can’t see TF or his financial backers having the patience to build a team of good up and coming youngsters, because that will require staying in the Championship for several seasons. Fernandes Air Asia and other businesses crave/need the advertising power of the EPL and this I fear, will force him to take short cuts resulting in more of the same. So may be will return to the Prem,’ but will our presence there be sustainable?

I hope we finish as Champions next season with a team that will establish the Club in the Prem’ for more than two heart wrenching seasons.
