Your Queens Park Rangers v Sheffield Wednesday Match Reports

Anyone who's supported QPR for any length of time knows that whatever our overall form lousy performances are never far away. Had a couple of good results, next time out we're bad. Playing a team below us in the league who we should beat easily and we don't show up. Play a team full of 6ft plus players who aggressively harass us at every opportunity and we look soft.
So Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday was not really a surprise, but however long you've supported the Rs you (me) still thought we'd win comfortably. Duh!

It was particularly disappointing to see Sam Field and Issac Hayden bullied off the ball and the latter was lucky not to concede a penalty with a wild challenge millimetres outside the area. Long balls up to Armstrong were wasted as he can't get flick ons (no one there anyway) and can't hold the ball up. He tried hard and did have a couple of physical runs against their defenders which usually ended with a Wednesday free kick. He doesn't get many decisions, sometimes doesn't deserve them, but he needs advice on the training ground on how to make it obvious when he's fouled, held back or pushed over. This ref have is very little. Hard to believe Wednesday were awarded more fouls than we were.

Marti looked cross in the first half and could have made some changes earlier. Good to see him taking responsibility in the post match interview, but in terms of muscle he didn't have many alternatives although I'd have given Larkeche a chance.

Let's hope Plymouth don't play the same way.

Generally bullied off the ball today. Mentally we did not look prepared at all. Lethargy from the start. Everyone including the crowd was already celebrating staying up - they were playing in a cup game. Armstrong needs to be coached on how to get the decisions - he got nothing today. Our lack of physical presence and our missing X factor in front of goal showed up today.

Lucky goal and a breakaway when we were pushing for an equalizer
Poor day at the office
Expected more from the ref ,especially with all the time wasting
Their fans were loud and proud but so were we

Complacency

Can somebody please explain to me how this can possibly be allowed to happen ?

Down to the manager as well as the players on this one I think
