Was thinking about this last season whilst it was going down the toilet, if you were able to go back in time to one specific moment in your Dale supporting career what would it be, if only for the feeling that moment left you with.
Mine would personally be once the full time whistle went at the game vs Accy at the crown ground in our promotion season, not just for what happened on the pitch, but the atmosphere amongst the fans, and the players coming over to join in, the day we honestly thought we'd be champions.
Life is a game of fate.

1st. Muirhead's penalty for me - "Rochdale have never been to Wembley - they're going now"
2nd. Beating Stockport 2-1 that evening at Spotland to stay up and leave Burnley fearing the drop. Excellent finale to a run of unbelievable experiences when we were well and truly dead and buried
3rd. Walking out at Wembley
4th. Promotion v Northampton (whilst superb - a little bit of an anti-climax towards the end of the season)

The muirhead penalty. By Accy, we knew we were going up. With the penalties, it could have been ecstasy or agony in the space of 60 seconds. The not knowing made it special

no denying when Muirheads penalty went in was unbelievable, not quite sure how to celebrate lol, but the after match emotions at that Accy game always stuck with me, such a collective and close atmosphere from everyone was brilliant.

Perhaps a bit of an odd one but kickoff v Hartlepool. I''d waited so long for promotion, every thinking 'this could be our year'. Finally kicking off in the league abve had me close to tears. Actually the last bit is a lie, I was wiping the tears away. 2nd to that was the final 2 minutes v Northampton.

A few to choose from but Southampton away for me. Flew to game, few beers, sunshine, Mr Angry baiting, COG goal, Jonah Goal, train home just in time for the Football league show and Dale being the main game.

Going to have to agree with you OD on the Accrington match. Such a special, special day, made even more memorable because of the pouring rain and the walk over the moors beforehand. I completely agree though, after that match there seemed to be an absolute certainty in all 4 sides of the ground that we were champions. Dreamy.

When I look back at Dale days - the 1 thing would be S'OSH's free kick vs Scarboro in league cup - Centre circle rocket - will never be repeated.
Lot of good memories - But thats the biggest

For me, obviously the promotion and Wembley will stick with me forever, but I feel so connected to Dale on miserable away ends when we rescue something late on. I'm thinking Chesterfield away in the Centenary, Morecambe away in the Promotion season, Jonah's equaliser at Tranmere in the first season in League One. Something special about those kind of moments.
