Don't think Gregory was on that tour. He did win a few caps on the previous summer's tour Down Under (virtually a B team) where such luminaries as Nick Pickering and Mark Barham got their only taste of international football.
Clive Allen did make that South American tour though and played in all three games.
My most underrated player would be Gary Waddock who in his prime Joey Barton couldn't lace his boots. |  |
