What's going on there then?

Poll: What is it to be then?

I was led to believe it was due to shut today. Surely with the bury game on Sat it would have made sense to stay open til Sat night at least?

Hope the Ratcliffe gets the staff numbers right from now on then.

A perfect opportunity to market studds and turn it into a match day asset for the club.I'm not holding my breath though!

It's being boarded up today apparently, BigKindo.

Another one bites the dust. Sad really. Was one of my local watering holes in the 1960s when I lived at Passmonds. Eddie and his missue from Bolton kept a decent pint of Wilson's Bitter. Would have thought with 23 homes matches a year they could have made a go of it. What going to happen to the bowling set up? New training ground?

Bugger, thought you said Bowlee for a moment then.

I guess the bowlers will head for the Ratcliffe if Patrick wants to take it on.

bowling green gave up long before the pub, all the teams have either disbanded or moved to spotland reform.

I've not really been using the place since Alan left but it's having a bit of a refurbish before a new tennant moves in so I've been told.

The Landlord who has just left wasn't willing to help with the green keeping and didn't want anything to do with the Bowls set up so the Bowls club disbanded.

That's what the last manager told people. Apparently Enterprise Inns are doing a refurb on the interior and some more basic work on the place like heating and electrics before re-opening it. As macaroo says, daft doing it before the bury game, and staying shut when Oldham and the two Sheffield teams have yet to visit.

Can't believe they didn't keep it open for the bury game!?!? Their neanderthals would have spent thousands behind the bar, then carried out the first bit of the refurb for free!

Enterprise Inn's loss is most certainly t'other place's gain. I believe Taz is doing a great job of advertising it on Twitter
