Church Inn on 17:10 - Jan 24 by Brierls | Not condoning it, but can find an excuse for it. You've just illustrated my point. I'm not speaking on behalf of the Cambridge-gate lot (and they're probably cringing at this being dragged up again), but I'm sure they had more than enough reason to snap if they wanted to use that as an excuse for their posts (they didn't offer excuses). Having my integrity questioned (publicly) at every turn would certainly be high on my list! It's either wrong or it isn't. Anything else is hypocrisy, and this fookin stinks of it. So he's not allowed to bark back at people who seem to be going out of their own way to make his life a misery?? Me personally, I wouldn't of used the 'mong' word as your right that would smack of hypocrisy, but seeing as some seem the word fit to use and in particular use it at Tazzy then the hypocrisy is there from the people who brought 'Tazzy uses the word 'mong' subject up on a thread where Tazzy hasn't even posted!

Tazzy can bark at whoever he wants, for whatever reason. The same rule should apply to Judd, Kel, TTNYear, Daley_Lama & Cooking_Lager. But it wasn't, and some people on here made a huge fuss about it. That's my point, and that's why it's hypocrisy. It's an interesting point you make about this being brought up a thread that Tazzy hasn't even posted on. Cambridge-gate stemmed from people dragging up posts from a messageboard they didn't even post on!

When Tazzy does bark back he's been doing it here or Twitter directly at those who he's 'sharing discussions with' so it would seem, however the Cambridge stuff was going on behind his back where it seemed a Tazzy bashing message board had been set up, the people involved apologised so obviously must have felt in the wrong and that should have been that. I noticed on Facebook over the last few days lots more Tazzy bashing, y'know the usual stuff about mis-spelling words or tram related stuff from some of the same people that were apologising just a few months back. Perhaps I'm getting it all wrong? Perhapz Tazzy should be proud that he's such an important figure in the lives of these people?
Church Inn on 18:33 - Jan 24 with 920 views | judd | Hey Clivert, why don't you just name me when you're talking about my fb conversations? Ignoring the issue of the m word, where do you stand on my accusations of him being a proven liar, examples being trust stealing funds, trust telling him to drop RFU, accusing a well respected dale fan if being behind the sick parody of girl on a terrace? And I would like you to explain how one cannot mention someone on a thread that they haven't posted on?

Church Inn on 18:53 - Jan 24 with 870 views | Ralphs12 | For what its worth I've known tazzy a loooooong time, he was a year below me in school. I dont particularly think he helps himself with some of the stuff he says at times, maybe he doesn't realise how it comes across. I've done the same thing many a time we all do it... But there are certain things I think he really needs to drop and I've told him so myself on twitter. The whole cambridge thing was name calling.... That goes on every day boo hoo. But if heanyone is going to moan about it they need to be whiter than white forever more, tazzy isn't that neither is anyone else I know. Can we move on.

Tazzy tweeted to his friends, referring to some people who drink in Cem as 'mongs'. Much in the same way that those involved in Cambridge-gate had a conversation with their friends on an internet messageboard, referring to Tazzy as a 'mong'. Tazzy didn't tweet directly to the 'mongs', those involved with Cambridge-gate didn't directly message the 'mong'. What I'm trying to emphasize here is there is there is very little difference between the two situations. All of these comments have been made behind the other's back. I've not gone into the rights or wrongs of Cambridge-gate, that doesn't come into the argument. Right or wrong, they were flogged for it. So, back to the same point...why is there a messageboard witch hunt against some individuals for indirectly abusing 'fellow Dale fans', and nothing but ignorance and defence when a a different individual indirectly abuses 'fellow Dale fans'? The answer is 'hypocrisy', and all your answers so far have only strengthened that view. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Fair enough Judd, you were involved in the fb conversations. I've said many a time that Tazzy was out of order regarding his accusations about the Trust money - I've had numerous conversations regarding this with Trust bods. The only defence I could offer Tazzy is that he very naive and it's the person who first put this idea in head that should be getting the bulk of the blame, why not ask Tazzy who it was as when I asked him he told me. Dropping the RFU thing - I've told Tazzy in the past that his RFU thing should be ran in conjuction with The Trust and even suggested that any money he made be donated to The Trust. The thing with the girl - I've no idea what that is all about. This topic was about the Church Inn pub and then out of no where Tazzy gets a mention. It's pretty obvious that you have no time for Tazzy and seem to revel in making his life a misery, in fact it comes accross as it's your sole aim in life as everything I see on here or Facebook is in some way a piss take of Tazzy. I would think that a smart bloke like yourself would be able to rise above this rather than persist with childish swipes and cheap shots at him, if he's such a pain in the arse to you and your chums then why follow him on Twitter, why befriend him on Facebook or why not hit the ignore button on here? Some people can be offered all the advice under the Sun, have diplomacy taken to extremes in explanation of the facts etc... and still never learn!! I agree with every word Brierls has spoken on this thread as well as Judd's last post. I have no doubt Clivert, that you will have had countless words with Tazzy to little effect. I have great regard for your ceaseless defence of the fella in trying circumstances but, ffs, 90% of what he gets is brought on by himself. Diplomacy is now out the window. If only he was as quiet on the 'net as he is at matches!!

Church Inn on 19:22 - Jan 24 with 746 views | judd | Fair play to you Clivert but I don't recall any admonishing of him on here from you. He lies and lies on here ad nauseum and has been caught out and even offered a partial apology for one of his marathons. I suspect the reason this whole debacle was raised on this thread is because the church inn issue started on twitter and his mong statement was sent to me. I cannot see his twitter or fb account nor he mine. I am not devoted to anything him related, probably takes up fook all brain time. I think he is a deceiptful individual with a dangerous agenda. His accusations on twitter yesterday were close to libellous. Stand up for him and everything he does, as is your right. Personally couldn't give a toss about him.

I started going in there early 1960s until I got wed in, er 1967 I think, and left the Borough. Eddie the landlord had a border collie which helped itself to a packet of cheese and onion crisps at 10-00pm every night. Wouldn't share them though!

I've only been in once or twice since Alan as I thought he was hard done by by the clever people at Enterprise Inns. I don't think the acting Landlord helped himself either as opening at 10.30am to accomadate the travelling Sheffield United fans the day we played The Blades at Bramall Lane was to good an idea !

When you drank some of the ales around in those days if you weren't already strange you finished up strange. Tetley's (Leeds) fighting bitter, Chesters of Ardwick sh*t*ing bitter, Cornbrook, Threlfall of Salford, Swales Ales, there were some really rum brews about in those days. Flavoured crisps were a novelty at that time and bottled lager for the ladies.
