Key as a sweeper as he is the only one with enough pace to play the role, Abdulai as rightback in the back four, keeps Grimes further up the pitch, didn't Abdulai played with Parker in front of him, if memory serves me right, played well enough and drove forward out from the back quite well although maybe didn't get the ball early enough to Parker or was that another youth product I'm think about?
A formation for another day maybe?

So, if Ben is out who will partner Harry, this really shows how threadbare our squad is.

Are we going to trust Williams now the window is open

Problem is for Williams tomorrow he is already o the back foot with Cabango missing and a returning glass jawed Franco.

Here we go again yet another period of turmoil.....
Then that will keep the clicks up

There is a thing called a gumshield, and you don't do yourself any favours with your snide comment in the last paragraph

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

This just highlights the state the club is in...what the current manager has been faced with all season why at times we appear inconsistent and why it will be hard to attract any sort of decent replacement manager.

I suspect we may see a starting formation of a back 3 of Naughton Grimes and Darling with a midfield of Key,Franco,Tymon then Cullen Eom and Ronald in front of them with Bianchinni up top

This part I agree with you on.

I find it ridiculous that adults who have been watching football most of their lives genuinely think a squad with two competent centre backs (I know we had the lad who couldn’t get in the Reading team on loan), no creativity and the weakest strike force in the division, should be higher than mid table. Chuck a bottom third wage bill in for good measure.

Whether people like the style of play, we’re punching well above our weight. The table doesn’t lie this deep into the season.

Where I disagree with you is the excuses you’ve been making up for Williams comments, which he doubled down on a few days later.

Even if he was having a Rodgers season, the minute he openly disrespects the club and makes it abundantly clear he doesn’t want to be here, he’s a dead man walking. We are better than that.

Christie needs to step up to the plate today. Good to see Franco back.

If Cyrus Christie could run faster, turn quicker, beat a defender, he'd be a good player.

I absolutely agree we are all entitled to our options and I fully respect yours. I did read the article and have no doubt he stated the comment about contacting his agent. Now if he meant it as it came out is open to interpretation, but he obviously knew how it was being portrayed in the media and supporters comments, so why not release a statement apologising/explaining exactly how he intended it to be taken. Failure to do this has compounded the problems between Williams and the supporters.

Hi mate,
I think you are a great poster and you’re on my top 3 for POTY, but I don’t get what you mean…
Surely the apology/statement you require, has been made in yesterday’s presser?
I get that many don’t believe his words, but he has said in the interview that he is really sorry for how he came across and it was a mistake and that he is totally committed to SCFC. He was in the dark and was too flippant.
He’s said all this.

We are looking vulnerable at the back. Will do well to keep a clean sheet today.

They’re running rings round us. Half committed tackling by some of ours.

Some fortuitous defending by us and 2 excellent saves by Vig keeps it at 0-0
