BIRMINGHAM CITY: Is Matthew Southall working with Laurence Bassini again? 22:58 - Jun 18 with 19556 viewsRAFCBLUE

https://talksport.com/football/efl/1130683/laurence-bassini-birmingham-takeover-

Laurence Bassini said on Talksport (transcript of the video in the link) that he is "bringing a criminal case against Nick Craig of the EFL regarding where he witheld evidence."

Meanwhile the Birmingham fans are in uproar about the risk of asset strippers and Bassini says:

1) Openly says he will only be there for 3 years.
2) He is not going on the Board.
3) Dodges the questions of the money and where it has come from.

"I am not seeking his approval" says Bassini before defaming Nick Craig (EFL lawyer) calling in the Talksport produced video calling Mr Craig "a crook"

Twice bankrupted Bassini tried to sue Charlton for a debt claimed "beyond laughable"

I wonder how closely the EFL are going to look at the links between Bassini and his takeover of Birmingham and Southall's attempted takeover of Dale.

Southall wouldn't be trying to dip his bread on a much more lucrative opportunity and leaving us behind now? I could see why he might; Bassini could get in at Birmingham!

Don't forget that Southall had a significant role into getting us into this mess. The new board were embroiled in fighting off legal action instead of being able to concentrate on the manager & matters on the pitch.

I can assure you that I’ve not forgotten Southall’s role in all this but I’d much rather we concentrate on the issues at our own club for the time being. Fine, revisit it in the summer if needs be but for now all efforts should be put towards the club we support. I can’t help but feel there’s an attempt to divert from our own issues when these threads keep rearing their head.

Sadly, it appears there is some continued baiting of Rochdale fans by certain players in failed takeovers.

I am certainly interested in certain events concerning individuals not connected with RAFC. Makes a refreshing change from dwelling on our own on-field predicaments.

Poll: What is it to be then?

That’s easily resolved by not replying, blocking them and reporting them on Twitter in particular. We all know who they are and when they get a response they just keep it up. I’ve a tendency to block bellends on there (not you yet though 😀) and it makes it a far easier experience.

Don’t get me wrong, I really want to see their downfall but all I’m interested in at the moment is our club and it’s obvious issues. When the seemingly inevitable happens I’m more than happy to join in with this stuff but it’s just not the time right now. Southall and his cronies can wait for now imo but I know how passionate you are about it all and, as always, you have my full respect.
