Reflecting on yesterday, I think it was a tired version of Tuesday's performance against a substantially better team.

Agree on comments about the ref, I think he was shocking for both sides, and if there was an assessor there then there will be lots to discuss on the back of it.

Dorsett had another good game, Charman looks like a proper no.9, O'Keeffe seemed more at it... special mention to Lynch. He has bounced back since the Carlisle error and I think we've seen his best run of games in a Dale shirt. I'd be happy to have him here next season, but probably as a back up to a proper commanding no.1. It looks like we've seen the last of Coleman - out for the season and I'm pretty sure we only offered him a 1 year deal?

I think we've probably seen the last of Newby too. Its interesting that he hasn't played since Stockdale asked 'who's up for the fight?'' - lots of talent but IMO just not committed enough.

10 points clear (although in my head looking at it as 7 as we've played a game more than Stevenage)... a win against Walsall will remove some of the pressure on the Stevenage game. Lets just get safety confirmed, give players games who we know (or strongly believe) will be here next season and build properly for 22/23.

I thought the referee was very poor, from the ridiculous booking of Dorsett early on, to his completely ignoring 2 decent penalty shouts it always seemed like the oppposition were getting the better of his decisions, indeed their baldy right winger was treated like a close relative given his predeliction for collapsing in a heap at the vaguest of touches.
And what was all that fuss around their free kick just outside our penalty area? It looked like he was forging a Picasso with his can of spray foam, by the time he had finished his masterpiece the original 10 yards line he drew had evaporated!

Think their 'baldy right-winger' was Welsh international Johnny Williams. Probably the only international plying his trade in L2, and as such, recognisable to a star-struck referee.

We would take a point at the start of the match against opposition that are in a play off shout.
But on reflection it shows what a poor league this is . Swindon were marginally better than Carlise, we seemed a bit tired after Tuesday .
I still dont agree about Dorsett , he got his body in the way of two shots, yes he did , but thats his basic job . His distribution is appauling and why he's taking throw ins is beyond me , he must be colour blind since he seemed to find a yellow jersey. I could throw it further.
But it is what it is at this stage of the season, nowt we can do to change except keep going .
Thought keohane , OKeefe, Dooley and Kelly were almost non existent , and Clarke really isnt up to this level of football.
Charman needs support and he needs the midfielders to see his runs. The poor guy is always looking to get in behind etc but the ball doesnt come .
I'm a little worried for next season since I feel we dont have the finances to bin so many off and recruit better quality.
We should be safe this season now.
