Until any of us have seen him, I wouldnt be so quick to label Andrews as anything,a bit like Peter Crouch was always a "target man" but he was deceptively good on the floor. | | | |

Expect this to be a decent signing. We now have two big forwards and would not necessarily expect him and Jake to start together to often. But the way JB plays he is likely to be injured / suspended from time to time, so can see them both getting plenty of pitch time.
I would not like to predict who is going to be our top scorer this season. Can see three, even four getting 10 goals or more goals this season.

According to Josh Andrews himself (in his first Dale interview on the OS), he's 6.5"/6'6". I'd say that's a fairly reliable source.
I'm really pleased we've got an absolute unit to call upon. He's going to get minutes off the bench to give Beesley a breather, but there'll be plenty of games where we'll need brute force up front from the start. Not to mention height defending set pieces (Calvin was often our best defender at set pieces).
In the interview, he says he's got pace and dribbling ability too, so not your stereotypical target man. Hopefully we'll see a bit of that too.
I'd like to see a central midfielder with a bit of experience come in now, but we can't be far off that being it for signings before the window closes. | | | |
