Had to laugh at one of the policemen ushering one of the hoolikids away on Wilbutts Lane. Said something along the lines of "well you can go down there (towards the Millwall fans) and get your head kicked in but you'll miss school in the morning".

Was comedy that😂😂.

Typo! Directors!

First thought was oh fook the pitch after all the kids ran on the pitch giving the Millwall fans shit then the inner child in me thought bollocks to it its millwall, horrible club and fans let them eat shit, we've won and we've got one of the most glamorous Spurs sides in the modern era in the next round.

What about the one who punched the steward? Not offensive...

After 90+ minutes of use being absolutely brilliant on the pitch, and the fans been excellent off, that punching of a steward just doing their job is one of the most disgusting things i've seen on a pitch (including some of those Uhlsport kits we had in the 90/00s). Is it really too difficult - in 2018!!! - for folk to not run onto the pitch? Like do what they're told?

Neil Harris on the BBC:

Millwall manager Neil Harris has called Rochdale fans who invaded the pitch after tonight's FA Cup tie "a disgrace".

Around 100 home fans ran onto the pitch after a 1-0 win for the League One relegation strugglers booked a fifth round tie with either Newport or Tottenham.

They goaded Harris and his players and then made for the 351 Millwall fans, who thankfully remained in their seats.

"I thought the Rochdale fans were a disgrace at the end," said Harris.

"As Millwall manager, I am not going to complain about fan bases. But the way it was managed at the end, the way our fans were goaded, wasn't quite right.

"My players were treated very badly and me, and the staff, were abused."

Harris said he would not be reporting the incident to the Football Association.

Nice way to deflect the attention off his teams shit performance.Anyone remember when Millwall beat Bradford at Wembley and invaded the pitch goading the Bradford fans in the league one playoff final. If it was anybody else complaining Fair do's but Millwall? Tonights poxy pitch invasion will be a small footnote in the story of how we got to the fifth round of the FA cup.

It is a bit rich coming from Harris, but still, the headline 'Rochdale fans were a disgrace' is now a headline in the report of one of our biggest matches in a long while. Yet more negative press in what's been a week where the footballing world is laughing at Rochdale. But it's ok, because it's only 'banter'. Isn't that right, RAFC1907?

This would be the same Neil Harris who verbally abused Chris Beech and had to be admonished by the fourth official during the second half.

He used the usual expletives to tell Beech what he thought. Very unbecoming of a manager towards opposing team staff.

Then again, as he says, he is the Millwall manager, so perhaps it's no shock.........

On the subject of disgraceful, I would imagine Chris Beech won't report him to the FA for shouting "FOOK OFF BEECHY" either. Two faced little sh1t.

Video showing the 'fan' swinging punches at a steward

It's totally unprovoked. It's an absolute disgrace.
Edit: looking at the video it doesn't look like a kid. The man gets on the pitch, ignores the steward who makes a weak attempt to usher him off and swings punches at the other steward.

Why are you using my comment to have a pop at another poster. To be fair you came on here after we played Oldham calling all Dale fans sexist because a group of the younger lads were singing "get your tits out" To a brassy looking woman at boundary park. I don't care what the headlines are my team is in the fifth round of the FA cup. Sometimes it would do you the world of good to care less about what people think, be a little bit more based and maybe be a little bit less of a pussy.

Embarrassing , poor stewarding as well

Because 8 stewards can stop 120+ fans running onto the pitch,i despair.

Yeah Shun, stop being a female's genitals.

Why don't you become a much more masculine male penis instead....I think that's what Mr/Mrs Ranger is implying?

Wish I'd chosen a different username...

I don't think I've ever cringed at something I've seen at a football match before tonight, but seeing grown men run onto a football pitch because we've won a 4th round tie is honestly laughable.

Sounds to me like you're desperately trying to claw back some credibility after being embarrassed earlier in the season, but instead you're just embarrassing yourself again - no need for anyone else to do it for you

isn't it obvious to you why invading the pitch - that pitch - and trying to goad opposition supporters from behind the line of police and stewards, isn't in the best interests of the club?

As frustrating as it was, the truth of the situation was seen 30 seconds after the invasion.

Initially, not many invaders went to goad. Strenth in numbers is obviously their forte. A knot of 3 fans did and one (1) Millwall fan clumbed over the barrier in response.

3 hard men became 3 little boys and the 1 millwall fan was easily placated by a Dale staff member as it was evident he really wasnt up for scrapping, just not happy with people giving it large.

60 seconds later the collective masses were brave enough to taunt the pensioners and slow leavers

If you’re going to act like ten men then at least act like one man when one man comes your way. Don’t punch stewards, that’s just pathetic.

The initial goaders looked like the lads from The inbetweeners! Pitch W@nkers 😊

Harris is a bit of a snowflake because his lot got beat. His fanbase have the worst reputation of the 92 clubs so it's a bit pot-kettle-black getting upset by a few cretins who turned up solely on the reputation of his own club and its legacy of hooliganism and racism.

I take it for what it is, an adjunct to supporting Dale

There's nothing - absolutely nothing - to be gained from the actions of those morons invading the pitch. All it might do is increase costs to the club in stewarding in future. Why on earth are you defending that? Do you actually have an answer or not?

In a way, your defending them is worse because you have some pretence to adult credibility, whereas those kids will likely grow out of it
