Yep, me to, horrible experience that doesn't seem to get easier no matter how many times you go through it. I'm able to rationalise human bereavement far easier than any of my dogs. |

I lost a friend when we were 19, my mother died a few years back and my father, though still alive is dead to me, I dealt with all those things far easier than I will when my best friend leaves me. |  |
