The addition of blue on the home shirt looks good... but only if it becomes an ongoing theme; they've had it and dropped it before. If not, it becomes a gimmick. Verdict: 7.5/10. An extra 0.5 added for the consistency of the blue trim. Has to be kept subtle though. That away shirt can go to kit hell (Google map it). The features are almost tacked on at will without any structure or plan, bar "what else would look stupid? Shove it on" Verdict: 3.5/10. An extra 0.5 for being audacious ba$t@rds with what's basically an Asda polo shirt. The lack of red in the badge winds me up. Hard to express how much.

True, but you still get them at a greasy spoon, where the Blades have been dining in recent years...

That badge crap is something that winds me up on modern kits. So many teams now change badge colours to the colour of the shirt in a very two tone bland way.The two manchester clubs have been particularly guilty of this. A club badge is sacrosanct and the colours are an intrinsic and non negotiable element of the badge no matter what the colour of the shirt. I am glad we have avoided this shirt crime and so far (as far as i know) have kept the badge in its original colours.

2014/15 away strip - the badge was yellow and navy like the rest of the kit.

Macron shirts are on the whole terrible but I agree that the Stoke home one is quite nice. The best I've seen from them so far. They usually look tacky and garish though - see the away strip. Ipswich is my favourite so far.

New kits around the world 2017/18 on 19:23 - May 10 with 3971 views | 442Dale | Man U away Another tip of the kit designer's hat to the past with the same graphic used in the material of the famous 91/92 blue away shirt. It has been reinvented very well using black and the plain panels frame the design better than Dale managed with Simon Coleman's top in 2001... Verdict: 9/10, the era of rave reborn. Wear it to Xanadus on a Thursday night and stand out from the crowd. Not wearing trainers would also achieve this.

Also, regardless of what the shirt looks like, how can it get 9/10 with a great big CHEVROLET sign plastered across the middle?

Ummm...you ok hun? This was the one solitary response to your post about the new Forest kit. "Always a massive risk bringing out a kit for a big game as it could be tainted by failure, so well done to Forest on staying up so such a good shirt isn't consigned to a stint unbefitting of former Champions of the Universe Verdict: 8/10. Pinstripes and collar are glorious, annoying that the Adidas stripes can't go all the way down the sleeves. That's modern branding affecting the reintroduction of past glories. Which encapsulates Forest's tribulations quite well. " I'm not too sure how an 8/10 and the word glorious is slagging anything off but I mean don't let your anti-United bias get in the way of the facts or anything.

From the original article they released on the official website I was expecting to have seen at least a glimpse / part reveal of it by now on twitter etc. The fact we have seen nothing is making me a little nervous, especially having seen the leaked picture on twitter of the plain blue Errea design that looked more like a t-shirt or training top. Personally I'm hoping for a return to proper black and blue stripes but don't think it will happen.

I thought the same about the new shirt. Sneak peak? We've had nothing. We do however have a suggestion that one of Errea's standard shirt designs from this season may be chosen. If it was that shirt any sneak peak would give it away. This concerns me.

New kits around the world 2017/18 on 22:04 - May 14 with 2898 views | 442Dale | Club America - that design shouts 'Germany Adidas', yet it's Nike. Verdict: 7/10, at least they've produced something different, hating Nike right now. Shimizu - Is that meant to be a map? Verdict: 2/10, it's a look at what kits and the world will look like once Trump's presidency is over. Aberdeen - really nice. The shadow stripes look good and Aberdeen back in a red collar is another retro feature from Adidas. Verdict: 8/10, an example how something plain can actually be quite detailed.
