Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

How ungrateful is that? They're only being helpful.

It’s the incredulous holier than thou attitude of them that gets me. Anyone poking fun at them is doing an act of football sacrilege.

The kit man is the latest to be shown the door, suppose the players will have to do their own.....Unpaid for months apparently before leaving. Dale is an unscrupulous tvvat and was on talk sport today bemoaning the fact that none of this is down to him, his illness has returned and the EFL are the bad guys, arrests to be made within 2 weeks which is utter bullshit as the SFO will tell him fk all in the real world.....Players were on up to 9k a week and quite a few over 4 k weekly. Not sure if he believes all he says himself or is he just delluded .......Strange times down Gigg..

https://www.burytimes.co.uk/news/17807399.bury-council-misses-audit-deadline-ass

AUDITORS have failed to sign off Bury Council's accounts on time.

Mazars blamed complex and technical issues relating to land value for the delay.

The audited accounts, which were supposed to be published yesterday, will not be complete until after the summer recess.

Do you remember at the fair on syke common the dj shouting scream if you want to go faster/higher?

They screamed for years under SD1 that they wanted to go higher and now under SD2, to anyone who is interested, they scream protest, abuse and hate of dale.

In reality the dj, SD2, is now saying scream if you want no club faster!

The candy floss is still all over pdiddys face with his bunch of battery throwing kids!!!

When Tom Pope was there a few of us know EXACTLY what he was on (and for any lurking buckets, no we didn’t see his contract as we didn’t have to) and were shouted down as liars by the now nonexistent visiting mongs when we said it was over 4K a week.

They should know by now that we’re always right...

There were quite a few points in the interview that made me laugh.
He was definitely playing the "it's not our fault card" and said the club shouldn't be punished for past misdemeanors. He claimed that they had paid/sorted ALL their debts (admitted to being "about" £12-£13million), as they are covered by the CVA. That's not paying them, that's paying a fraction of what you owe and shafting everyone you owe money to. Maybe if clubs go into a CVA then the EFL should only pay the club the same % that the club are paying on the CVA, that would discourage and penalise these clubs using it as a way to run up massive debt.
Then went on to claim that of the £3.8million loan/mortgage bURY only received £140,000 but that's what happens when you take out payday loans at 100%+ per month interest. Did chuckle at his quick backtracking when claiming the ELF OWES THEM money but then retracted it to they are due money.

Equally they did the same to us and I believe we had to have the money paid by the EFL who deducted it from money they were due to pay bury.

Oldham also went apoplectic when it was made public that they had not paid us ticket money.

Phew!! The time & effort it must have taken to write such waffle... I know in these days of “group hugs”, mass vigils for dead cats etc that my views may be a bit old hat, dare I even say outdated but let’s all have a reality check shall we?
Football is first & last a business. Harsh but true. If a business (in the real world) is run as badly as bury has been then it goes under, pure & simple. Only in the dystopian bubble that is professional football can clubs go to the brink time & again only to be pulled out of the mire. The self pitying attitude that pervades their fans at the moment is nothing short of cringeworthy. As I’ve said before “enjoy the ride”... SD1 certainly took them on one, the sound of silence at the time is in marked contrast to the wailing now.
Sorry but you can’t have it both ways.

It's the "community" gubbins that gets me.

They've just endured 5 or 6 years under the ownership of some fat, deluded Yorkshire, erm, wide boy, who has saddled the club as an asset with unsustainable debts whilst acting out some sort of fantastical football club ownership "journey", only to be sold to an asset-stripping Cheshire based brute.

Both of these men were welcomed into the club as messiahs, whereas they have just been very naughty boys.

The "community" of bury in the guise of Forever Bury, gifted their significant shareholding to the fat controller.

So, what price professional football for the community, a community that is made up of a myriad of local businesses, employees, even a charity, who are being paid the best part of FOOK ALL?

The last line quoted from the wonderful Shakespeare sums that article up:
"It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing"

A BS article that misses many salient points about the bury scenario, completely ignoring those who have been ripped off (community and credibility) and how bury fans lapped up the Championship dream of Day (aspiration and progress). Never our fault as usual.

George Clancy would be more appropriate to quote, but that would have been too near the truth.

"You're responsible for your own happiness
Unless your life turns into a mess
I don't understand this self proclaimed fame
Where you want all the credit and none of the blame"

Dear Pamela is very diluted isnt she. As said above ...community involves local businesses and charities, which your "credible" club stuffed over.
Shocking response from someone who is supposed to have some modicum of intelligence.

To use the word 'rape' in such a way, will do more harm than good. Appalling - and it will surely harden attitudes towards them, rather than engender any form of sympathy.

Just the sort of crass stupidity that will likely make the EFL act severely. Be careful what you wish for...

“It is easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled”

Disgusting. Absolutely utterly disgusting. Some clubs on that list have been victims off bad ownership, others have willingly enjoyed a ride. Had the efl blocked bury’s big signings or carrington these same bury fans who are blaming the efl now would have shit the bed and accused the efl of meddling. Only solution is absolute financial transparency, strict regulations in regards to loans and debt. Break them and you’re out. Simple. If these idiots want saving by the efl then they need the power to do this.

They've managed to fit in all those names of those who have "suffered" at the hands of the EFL onto one side a short wheel-based transit.

I am not sure that even Eddie Stobarts fleet would suffice in order to list all those individuals, businesses and charities that have been RAPED by bury fc

I admit I skipped read the article and yes it was full of gubbins albeit well written gubbins but wasn't she pointing out what we have been saying all along namely the EFL have done sweet fook all and looked the other way as chairmen like Day have acted criminally,. Its been obvious for a long time articles have been written in prominent newspapers that Day was fraudulently moving money around at Bury's expense and at the expense of other member clubs like Mansfield who were cheated as Bury were rewarded for financial cheating. The EFL are complicit, guilty and up to their fat necks in this shit by their utter failure to protect their members.
