Wembley Pubs For Southampton Fans Announced

Wembley stadium along with the Metropolitan Police have announced the details of the allocated pubs for Saints fans on Sunday, read on for more details.

Before we come to where Saints fans can drink, it is perhaps pertinent to point out where they and indeed Leeds fans can't drink.

Brent Council and its partners are enforcing a No Street Drinking Zone on Olympic Way and the surrounding area, those arriving at the train and underground stations will find that they will not be able to take alcohol on to the street, bins will be provided and they will have to deposit all cans & bottles whether opened or unopened into these bins, drinking on the street will not be tolerated.

Off licences and supermarkets in the area will not be allowed to sell alcohol.

As well as the bins toilet facilities will also be provided for those who are desperate after getting off the tube or train.

Wembley Stadium, the Police and Brent Council have reiterated that they would like everyone to come to Wembley to enjoy the experience. In order to achieve this, they have to have these measures in place to keep everyone safe.

But there will be plenty of bars and restaurants in and around the stadium to supply those that are thirsty.

Box Park on Olympic Way will be allocated to Leeds fans, but Saints fans have been allocated a fan zone in Arena Square next to the Wembley Arena.

The Fan Zone will be open from 11am-2.30pm BST, with last drink orders at 2pm BST. After that, supporters will be encouraged to head into the stadium. Match tickets will need to be shown for entry into the Fan Zone, which has a limited capacity of around 2,300

The Fan Zone will include a big screen and stage with a presenter, DJ and live music from Moonrunners, Calum Lintott, David Littleton and Saints Brass. Interviews with special guests will also take place on stage alongside competitions, giveaways, mascots and face painting

There will be an abundance of food and drink options outside the stadium, and a Jameson bus within the Fan Zone.
