Ralph Hasenhuttl has been speaking to the press ahead of the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening and has confirmed who will definitely be out and who might be missing.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has told the media that both Lyanco and Nathan Tella will be definitely out for the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but there is better news within the squad, however he was his usual coy self and the worry is we aren't getting the full picture.
"Lyanco is definitely out for 8-12 weeks, hopefully not too long. It’s the same injury as Jack Stephens had a few weeks ago so this is more serious" was the first news from Hasenhutttl.
"It’s a pity for him because I think he was in very good shape and he enjoyed learning and was getting better and better every week. It’s a little bit of a setback but he will come back stronger and hopefully he’s keeping his head up.
"Nathan needs a little bit more time. Hopefully at the beginning of next week he comes back and trains with the team.”
But there was slightly better news concerning Armando Broja:
"[Broja] is not training yesterday, not training on Sunday. We will have a look at how he is today, it’s possible that he is available for tomorrow. We don’t know yet, we want to give him time to recover and then we’ll have a look.”
That was very non committal from the manager and he gave no updates on other members of the squad.
Tino Livramento played the full 90 minutes on Saturday, which was a surprise due to the fact that this was his first action since the Boxing Day win at West Ham some 6 weeks ago, there was no news of any reaction adverse or otherwise on the former Chelsea youngster.
