Who is Andy Curran?

We have learned in the past week that the Club is subject to takeover from Andy Curran, Darrell Rose and Alex Jarvis.

So far what do we know?

Well we know that Alex Jarvis has been emailing shareholders asking to purchase shares on behalf of Andy Curran and Darrell Rose. We believe that deals have already been done for the shareholdings belonging to former Chairman Andrew Kilpatrick and former Directors David Bottomley and Graham Rawlinson. They are also believed to have agreed to buy the shares of Dan Altman and Emre Marcelli which will provide a combined shareholding of somewhere in the region of 42%. It is not known if other shares have been purchased.

There are questions as to how the email addresses have been obtained, presumably with information that only the club would have access to.

Who are Curran, Rose and Jarvis?

There is very little known about Andy Curran. We know that he comes from Essex and has no history with Rochdale. If you were to google him, he has next to no information available about him at all which is certainly unusual in modern times.

His son Taylor recently played for Swindon Town, having joined them from Southend United. He transferred to Maidstone this week. It is believed that Curran has been involved at Swindon during the past season.

There is a bit more information available on Darrell Rose https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/jhT1LL0Dosaf He comes from Worksop and has a family business selling cars (LKC Motors) https://www.lkcmotors.co.uk/. He is also involved in property with a couple of companies — Rose and Co Developments and Rose and Co Homes https://roseandcohomes.co.uk/our-developments/

The link between Curran and Rose is not known.

Alex Jarvis’s company is Blackbridge Sports Ltd.
