Player coach Brian Barry-Murphy has extended his stay at Spotland for a further twelve months.
BBM is currently Dale's longest serving player, having made his debut at the start of the League One campaign, and whilst his time is mostly spent on the touchlines rather than on the pitch, he's proved his worth enough to have his deal extended to next Summer.
He played just three first tea games last season, with the last one coming in the home win against Torquay in September. But, perhaps with tongue in cheek, Dale boss Keith Hill cited a Ryan Giggs style renaissance to BBM's career next season.
