West Ham - What Will Michael Do

The Swans entertain West Ham on Sunday at the Liberty looking to record back to back wins in the Premier League for the first time since the back end of last year. But who will Michael pick in his starting line up?

With the season now fully taken shape there seems to be some clear patterns in what Michael does with his team selection although some choices are easier than others particularly when you take into account the injuries that are currently in the squad.

So why not read on for our views on who Michael will pick on Sunday and then use our team selector feature to make your own predictions and paste them either in the comments or on the forum.

Goalkeeper

One of the easiest choices for league games. Gerhard Tremmel played midweek but Vorm's place is not under threat for the league game so in comes the Dutchman looking for another clean sheet following a relatively easy afternoon last week.

Defenders

Again probably an easy choice for the game. With Ben Davies definitely out I think it may be one game too early to also see the return of Ashley Williams as well so therefore we will see a back fur of Angel Rangel, Chico Flores, Jordi Amat and Neil Taylor. The depth of the squad gives you comfort these days as that's a strong back four but no more injuries needed.

The Midfield Two

Leon Britton, Jose Canas, Jonjo Shelvey and Jonathan De Guzman. Take two from these four and put them on the team sheet. Britton and JDG played last week, Shelvey and Canas in Europe. GIven the difference in the performance I think we'll go back to last week's pairing. Britton for me is a certain starter and the rest in midweek will give JDG another start at the Liberty.

The Wide Men

The good news is that Pablo Hernandez is back and fit and I can see him coming back in for his first game in almost two months. So who makes way? I'm going to go for Routledge to drop to the bench but this is a tough one to call.

Up Front

Michu will take his place playing just behind Bony in this game. That seems to be the norm for games like this and it is how it should be.

The Bench

A strong looking bench for the Swans that will contain Tremmel, Tiendalli, Shelvey, Canas, Pozuelo, Vazquez and Routledge
