On the plus side I won't have to suffer NR & DT next season as hopefully they'll be long gone.

Has Nick gone into hiding?

Clearly the team were nervous and unsure about tactics from the whistle. We were soon overrun in the midfield and after the second goal it quickly became damage limitation.
I cannot ever remember many games when the team has looked so lost!!! What have we been doing at Staplewood?

DPeps - Nick needs to come up with some positives for the 'verdict' and that is taking time - lots of time...

warrens76 - I am sure you are right on the issue of Cortese unfairly being made the villain but I, honestly, do not understand the 'road not travelled' that you ouline. So, Cortese stays with lots of forward looking ideas and, keeping within fair play rules, and notwithstanding the desire of players and managers to earn more and win more NOW, we progress up the table and stay there. We, of course, will never know what would have happened if Cortese had stayed but MoPo not going to Spuds is quite frankly unbelievable. A bit like VVD with his injury NC's departure gave MoPo a reason for something he was going to do anyway. I always thought that NC's ambitions were too big for a club of our size. I know that sort of statement makes some fans very angry (the old 'ambition' chestnut again) but I believe that it is probably true and as with all 'what ifs' we will never know.

Hard game to watch.
Playing Austin from the start and leaving Sims out of the squad was a mistake by Hughes.

I´m as disappointeed as anyone but for me it´s still too early to give up.

Leapfrog Huddersfield and keep Stoke behind us (which is not the biggest task in the world) means no relegation = success.

If Hudderfield don´t make more than 5 points in their last 6 games and we keep Stoke behind us, the following results will keep us up:

Bournemouh at home: 3 points
Swansea away: 3 points
Everton away: 1 point
Leicester away: 1 point.

= 8 points

= 36 points total.

Great ovation for Matt Smith when he was subbed. It seemed that nearly every QPR supporter was on their feet to applaud him off.

What a belting match. Pty Dale missed the win.

Our substitutions totally changed the game - they were scared stiff of the two attackers we took off and we replaced them with an anonymous player and a defender who should have been on from the beginning

Brilliant upfront and in midfield - awful in defence!
