Having slept on it, its still difficult not to be cross about this match. The problem is obvious really - our players want to walk the ball into the goal instead of having a shot. Its all very well playing pretty football (and yes, we did that all afternoon) but if there is no product what's the point? I'm not asking for the Big Sam hoof-ball style but at least have a go when you get near the goal!

I don't agree with some others about Forster's failure to save the goal though - its was a superb strike and there was nothing much he could have done about it. I also don't agree with the red card defenders either - it was a silly late challenge, born out of frustration over the continual niggling in the other direction all through the match.

Ho hum, lesson learned, onwards and upwards!

POOR GAME. Tadic so overated cant even cross a ball. Feels like were playing with 10 men on the park at times. Felt sorry for REED as he played well and subbed for an attacker when one of the wide men should have came off. This probably cost us as SHELVY jogged forward to shoot.

The writing was on the wall in the first half when they showed they could shoot (apparently we can't). Pelle did well receiving and holding up but with no support. Need a forward and another goalkeeper asap.

You have to take your chances! Shelvey is a known threat from distance - taking Reed off allowed him to get around the pitch easier, eventually leading to their goal! Forster should have had the Shelvey shot, good though it was!

Odd-looking ratings: 8 Coventry players score better than 7.5, only 3 Dale players do, and every Coventry player is rated more highly than his Dale opposite.

A much better performance today, compared to recent weeks, it was a poor goal to give away letting Defoe run 30 yards unopposed, and Gomis should have scored at least one of his opportunities first half. Completely dominated second half without creating too many chances. Stand out player for the Swans today was our scorer Ki, shows how much we missed him the last few weeks, just class.

Poor quality match, but like our earlier game against Saints; they played much below the standard they've reached this season, but were still better than us and took the three points. Closer this time at least, Caulker passes that ball just before the goal a bit harder and we get a point. Happening too often that kind of thing.

The sustained brilliance and work rate of Mane got us over the line today.

Nice to see Ki back we are a better team with him, but Cork looked lost in the midfield but that will come as he plays himself in and Nelson looks some player to me. Note for the coaching staff - could you please run some sessions designed to passing the ball in front of Jeff to run on to. We have a frightening amount of pace that we don't seem to get the best out of
