Just watched Hearts v St Johnstone on BT TV and Cummins has scored for St,Johnstone, Scottish Premiership must be worse than I thought. |

Hillys teams dont play well on dry bouncy pitches where the other team dont give them any space, Sir Alec soon found that out and saturated the Old Trafford pitch every week. When the weather is better at the begining and end of the season , the form of Hillys teams seem to tail off. Its no use putting the sprinklers on for 5 minutes before the match and at the interval, as all this does is make the surface slippy, it needs a good soaking.! |

My interpretation of all the information on the various websites is that KH applied for the Sheffield Utd job and whilst he was waiting for the result of the interview , Barnsley asked for permission to interview him for their job, and not knowing whether he had been successful, he had to initially turn Barnsley down. He then gave two interviews to BBC radio Manchester and Sheffield with different interpretations , trying not to burn his bridges with Rochdale and Barnsley. When he learned he hadnt got the Sheffield job he then got in touch with Barnsley. If Leyton Orient had given permission to Russell Slade to go to Barnsley then probably he would still be with the Dale. |
