Back to our better selves against Blackburn last week. We've had a week off, Coventry haven't. They are doing well, so are we.

We just look like a good team. 2-0 QPR.

The team lost, so we deserved and got nothing.

The godivas were there for the taking first half but fat frank pulled our pants down the second half.

Absolutely livid with that.

Can someone ITK just say the whole fan base doesn't want Chair or Paal, ever taking a corner again. Get Saito or even this new fella Yang to do it.

A kick in the balls.

Only consolation is we are still in 13th and are still on track.

Derby is a must-win game purely for momentum.... it really is decisive.

yep- that was an absolute sitter.
Alfie looked totally ineffective when he came on too

Blatant foul on Cook for the goal. Jimmy rugby tackled at the other end on one of our previous corners and nothing given for either.

One of those games where the ref seemed to slightly favour the home side - unfortunately for us, it lost us the game.

Looked a foul to me albeit a bit soft. I guess that's the luck from the Frey handball against Luton evening itself out.

Mate, he has pushed Cook over, simple as. Wait until you see the replay from the camera at the Cov end. Ref is looking straight at it, can't have missed it.

yea - been mentioned on here a lot but our corners were truly dreadful tonight. Both Paal and Chair failing to beat the first man on multiple occasions is very poor. Basics of being a professional footballer surely?

It’s incredibly annoying. It’s a basic. They shouldn’t be this bad consistently. We delivered 5 woeful corners into the box in the space of 5 minutes, one from Chair and four from Paal. It borders on a lack of professionalism.

Ever sea a blind alley with no product. Lady and gentleworm i give you Illias Chair.

Not sure why we are keeping him in the first team, at the moment he makes us a player short.

That’s how to take a corner but once again we switch off, but Frey should have sealed it before he was subbed

We still haven't really found an answer to our perennial striker problems. Kolli is young and still learning, same for Lloyd...but I am not convinced Frey is the answer either. I'd like another look at Celar before the end of he season.

Pal is absolutely pony, how we persist with him taking corners I will never know. And as for their goal, how does the ref not see that push on Cook

Lloyd look like he handle the ball for the goal against Blackburn so it's horses for courses mate.

We still don't have a goal threat about us. Until that changes... we won't be progressing any further. Our away form is really nose diving unfortunately. Still happy with where we are in the table though.

Agree with that. Frey is over-hyped, Alfie is willing but often unable, and Kolli is still to fully flower. Marti hopefully recognises the shortfall.

I've seen the replay. I think it's a foul but it wasn't a particularly heavy push and the point I was making was that sometimes we get the luck like with Frey's handball goal and sometimes the luck goes against us.

Annoyingly they were there for the taking and as said if our corners where as dangerous looking as theirs , we might score a few more .
Some really basic mistakes we make when the easy option is on causes us to concede possession too often giving momentum to the opposition
Need to win on Friday now

That's sad to hear. Was really hoping he would come back into the team and be his old self. It is obvious now, he is struggling badly.

Good point. Luck tends to even itself out. Hopefully a big response on Friday against Derby. Reckon they'll park the bus and try and get us from set pieces.

Totally agree with everyone about the corners. Paal does my head in. How can you consistently deliver such poor balls? How is Marti letting him continue taking corners. It makes no sense.

The coaching needs questioning too then. Thought we had left these aspects of our game behind us.

It's a heavy enough push to knock over a very experienced centre half who isn't going to be sitting down when there's a corner to defend, and it's straight in front of the ref who has a completely unobstructed view from ten yards away.

I can understand when you have incidents like Frey's handball where almost no one realised it had happened, but this really wasn't a tough decision to get right, was it?

So off the scale of contrarianism you should be certified!

He wasn't at his best tonight, but still had just about our best effort on goal, and always showed for the ball and tried to make the play. Half a dozen were off it tonight, and you pick on our best player for years!

Watched the goal back and its a foul on Cook. The ref has a clear view as well. He was sh1t all night on corners with all the holding going on.
As said though, our corner deliveries are shocking.
Didn't deserve that.

I hope Alfie isn't going to be another Sinclair. Think Kolli is the more likely of the two to push on in the long run.Last minute defeats are tough to take for sure. Better result on Friday hopefully.

On way back

If you can't beat the first man after having 4 corners in the last min then you deserve to lose

Absolutely livid
