Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:38 - Dec 20 with 2796 views | HAYESBOY | What a good game of football to watch. What a performance. Fully deserved. Well worth watching Ian Poulter 100 times over the last couple of days.

Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:41 - Dec 20 with 2736 views | QPRSteve | Luton away next. That Kolli looks some prospect. I was reading that he qualifies for England, Algeria and France. Let's hope the England set up selects him soon. I will be spending the next hour or so on the Football Manager editor improving the stats of our youth players!
Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:42 - Dec 20 with 2706 views | Greenbay | Neil Critchley - 9 days into the job. Results:- QPR win 1-0 at Preston in the Championship. QPR B team win 2-0 at Bournemouth. QPR U18s beat 3 times champions Spurs 3-1 in the FA Youth Cup R3. Critchley in attendance for this match at Stevenage. Quite amazing. His influence must be doing something. And by the way these U18 year olds at Stevenage were full of hard work, intensity and never-give-up attitude. Exactly the same when we won at Preston. Well done to all - and most enjoyable.

Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:44 - Dec 20 with 2695 views | dmm | I didn't see the game but delighted for our U18s nonetheless. Superb win. After last night's B team win v Bournemouth, these are excellent signs our youth programme is working very well indeed.
Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:46 - Dec 20 with 2675 views | HAYESBOY | Kolli looks more like a No 10 than a No 9 to me. When he drives with the ball it never leaves his feet more than a yard at pace. They stated that he has trained with the first team a few times when Beale (cough) was in charge. Hopefully Critchley seeing that tonight will do the same.

Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:47 - Dec 20 with 2663 views | terryb | Thank you for the reports/comments. I've not seen any of the game, but feel that I've witnessed a well deserved giant killing! This must be our best result in the FA Youth Cup for a long time. Perhaps since the mid 60's. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:48 - Dec 20 with 2654 views | aston_hoop | Some tremendous prospects in that team. Kolli as everyone has said was the best player on the pitch apart from Spurs keeper. Teddy Lawrence seems to have a lot about him too, a knack of popping up to score goals will serve him well too. Liked the 2 subs, Christmas and Tuck also. Christmas strong bringing the ball out of midfield and Tuck had a wand of a left foot

Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 21:53 - Dec 20 with 2603 views | flynnbo | There were were so may excellent passages of play and interplay that the whole game should be up on the website for all to see (if that's possible with Recast). We seem to have a very special set of players at this level but keeping hold of them could be a problem as they must have impressed the Tottenham coaches. So proud of the boys tonight and great support too.

Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 22:36 - Dec 20 with 2343 views | DannyPaddox | Best performance I’ve seen by a QPR team in a Cup game at any level since I don’t know when. For excitement levels it was like the World Cup hadn’t finished. Absolutely tremendous all over the park. Kolli, Petrie, Lawrence, and Siqueira have all rightly been lauded but let’s not forget the keeper Harry Cant (oh yes he can!) A superb display to keep Spurs at bay when they had their chances - mostly from the CF Donnelly who I’m told by a Spurs mate plays for the first team in friendlies - illustrating the quality the lads were up against. Kolli & Petrie though - wow. Kolli’s got some swagger about him but with the skills and bottle to back it up. Petrie seemed to get stronger and stronger as the game went on while those around him dropped with cramp. Superb confident purposeful football and loads of character to come back against a team who obviously had a lot of quality. Good to hear Critchetinho was in attendance too.
Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 22:56 - Dec 20 with 2254 views | 05452201 | I was there. What a game and what a night. The front 3 of Kolli, Lawrence and Petrie were fantastic. They ran Spurs ragged and were well supported by the rest of the team. We were totally dominant in extra time when we looked fitter, stronger and more talented than the Spurs team. Loads of Rangers in the crowd as well. Massive cheers when we scored our goals. I got to speak to Critchley after the game and you could tell how much he enjoyed it as well. I’m sure he will reward some of these lads with some extra training with the first team. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Great fun and great for the club.
Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 23:19 - Dec 20 with 2157 views | 1JD | I’ve been watching the youth teams, the u18s and 21s, for the best part of the last 10 years. That was far and away the best performance I’ve seen in that time. And the most potential in any group I’ve seen. Normally you get the odd one who might make it as a professional footballer, let alone a championship footballer or above. But this group have it in spades, there are no weak links. For context, the u18s have finished bottom for the last 3 seasons running, and questions have rightly been asked. But there are a number of high quality players with real potential in this set of players. 4th in the league so far this season. Beat Palace (Cat 1 in a friendly at the weekend). And just beat, and outplayed Spurs (Cat 1) in the FA cup. I’d encourage all interested fans to watch that game back who didn’t see it. An absolute joy! Technical quality of the highest order. If far too open at times. Kolli, who I’ve been raving about to anyone that would listen for the last year, was the best player on the park. But the other 10 players and subs, all genuinely have a chance of making it in the game, such is the quality of the whole team and squad. Well done young Rrsss, a superb performance. The swagger and showboating at the end was something else!

Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 08:10 - Dec 21 with 1745 views | Northernr | Kind of a sad indictment of modern football and EPPP that one of my immediate reactions to watching that is I wonder how many of them Spurs will come after now. The best player on the pitch who wasn't wearing QPR colours was their goalkeeper, who used to.

I've just looked at this. What two great attempts we had that hit the woodwork. I felt for Lawrence as he had to stop celebrating the third goal to deal with cramp! What a result!

Mine, too. Followed by the age-old thought that we could and should be Cat 1. It wouldn't affect our EPPP spending, as far as I'm aware. I've never bought the club line that it would be of no benefit to us. edit - sp. check. [Post edited 21 Dec 2022 9:23]

I have to admit that this is something I know little about. What would we have to do to get Cat 1 and how much would it cost? What have the club’s arguments been about not getting it I.e why is it ‘of no benefit’? In the light of the new training ground, might the Club’s stance change?
Youth team on Recast Tuesday on 08:47 - Dec 21 with 1625 views | StevenageRanger | I went to the game tonight for my first ever watch of the U18s (only round the corner for me!) Really enjoyed it. Was nice, that unprompted Chris Ramsey came over to us and shook me and boys hands as could see we were Rangers. Him and Les than set right next to us. My youngest had a photo with Neil and I had a brief chat with the new Assistant at half time. I mentioned Rayan and said he looks quality, he said "he has something about him doesnt he" Ya Ya Toure sitting a few seats away with Pat Jennings. We are going to head to Luton away now!
