The Early Edition Rhyming Slang 'Aitor Karanka' Match Thread 11:42 - Feb 26 with 36119 views | Dorse | Currently undefeated when starting match threads this season, I was unsurprised when Warbs 'Warby' Warburton called this morning and insisted that I start this one. 'Dorse', he said, for we are close and often share recipes, 'you know what to do'. Sadly, I didn't but it was nice of him to call.

The Early Edition Rhyming Slang 'Aitor Karanka' Match Thread on 16:53 - Feb 27 by Rangersw12 | Austin sub was clearly down to sports science Better to think positive of play offs than wet the bed thinking were going down every year and always wanting the manager sacked [Post edited 27 Feb 2021 16:54]

Sports science ??? See the game out for the win , seriously what’s Dykes going to do ? Poor from Warburton today imo , they were awful
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

So disappointing especially Johansen - with a clear cut chance - hould have made it 2-0. But wouldn't we all take 6 wins and a draw from our last 9 league matches? Still disappointing though with all our hopes raised dramatically in the last few weeks.

It's not like we haven't won ugly recently, today we lost ugly to a bad team on a terrible pitch. I think we're safe. 11 points clear of relegation.

The Early Edition Rhyming Slang 'Aitor Karanka' Match Thread on 16:50 - Feb 27 by paulparker | Stupid subs imo Dykes is not cut out for this level and neither is Bonne Take Austin out of this side and we have zero goal threat , all of this talk of play offs from some on here us laughable |
PP, it’s nothing to do with Austin going off. We got a lot better for the next 20, and should have scored. Dykes actually did really well. We just fell asleep for the return cross for the first. Barbet and Kane to blame. And after that we’ve gone to pieces. Barbet alone gave it away 4 times in the following 10 mins. Ball was invisible in that time too and the whole side fell apart. I think Warbs was overly conservative in that second half too, but really, the players only have themselves to blame. That display felt a bit complacent to me.

The Early Edition Rhyming Slang 'Aitor Karanka' Match Thread on 17:01 - Feb 27 with 1623 views | strikerace | Very poor result No threat up top without Austin. Dykes does ok, but seems to need to play off of someone like Austin. He's not a constant threat. Bonne did nothing. We give the ball away far too easily every match. We give the opponent many chances to score. This is inevitable giving away possession like we do. Barbet was terrible. I also blame Warbs for taking Austin off way too early.

They put a lot of effort into that half but look so poor. Despite our sluggish play we've taken our chance. Well done Rangers. |

Preston was the same if not worse but we got away with it . Adomah should have been on when it was 1 nil and playing hoofball against 1 defender

Yes Austin going off is not the sole reason why we lost today but your taking off a goal threat with 35 minutes plus injury time to go ? Who is seriously going to score for us when they equalised or try and grab a second It just goes to show where we would be with out Austin this second half of the season

The Early Edition Rhyming Slang 'Aitor Karanka' Match Thread on 17:06 - Feb 27 with 1456 views | Antti_Heinola | Felt in total control of that once we went one up. Not quite sure how Johansen missed that chance, can only have been the pitch as it was as straightforward as it gets. Had that gone in, it was game over. To be fair, while you can say you should defend every cross, it was a great ball and great header for the first and a sublime finish for the second. Fair play to them. But overall it was at best a 5/10 from us, the pitch was awful, but just before they scored we played some half decent stuff for 10 mins. Really frustrating - a game we could and should have won.
