Currently undefeated when starting match threads this season, I was unsurprised when Warbs 'Warby' Warburton called this morning and insisted that I start this one. 'Dorse', he said, for we are close and often share recipes, 'you know what to do'.
Sadly, I didn't but it was nice of him to call.
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Warbs has hinted at a few changes for this one. Can see up to 4. Nico for Wallace Field for Johansen Willock for Ball/Chair Bonne for Dykes/Austin. If we can get an early goal it could be a big win but got a feeling it will end 0-0. Karanka loves a 0-0 more than life itself.

I wouldn't rest Ball - he seems indestructable. I thought maybe Kakay for Kane but Kane had such a wretched game at Preston, MW might give him a chance for quick redemption. I'd go with Bonne for Dykes and Willock for Chair with perhaps 45 mins each for Field and Johannson.

I agree re Ball I'd swap Chair for Willock and Kakay for Kane, just to give them a rest. They get through a lot of work. I'd keep Dykes on because I think he'd put through the sort of balls that he gets for Scotland. I'd give Field the second half and put Bonne on for Charlie at half time, especially if we're winning.

Warbs has to make changes. He's intimated that this will happen. Especially as there's such a quick turnaround from Wednesday night at Preston. So many tired players needing a rest. 1. Kakay starting for Kane. 2. de Wijs is surely going to be in the squad and you'd think he'll get some game time - perhaps for Cameron - maybe in the second half. 3. Hamaleinen for Wallace sometime in the game. Wallace has surprisingly been good. 4. Willock starting for Chair. 5. Field starting for Johansen 6. Bonne starting for Dykes 7. Kelman as a sub for Austin second half QPR 2-1 win.

I would prefer ball to start. Seems exactly his kind of game but he played 90 on Wednesday whereas Johansen came off. Would be nice to see Field from the off. Looks a tidy player.
