Carrol having a good game as our Quarterback ... needs more movement in front of him though. I'd prefer Ball to Cameron next to him, the game seems to be passing poor Geoff by. Kane has also impressed, lots of energy. Dieng one very good save and some good claims. Ilias is frustrating ... seems to slow down our attacks sometimes and giving a few needless free-kicks away. Derby look terrible, absolutely there for the taking. Unfortunately we’re back in ‘fannying about’ mode. Far too much passing backwards and sideways, instead of getting two wingers to roast their fullbacks and get crosses in.
I hope dykes is still injured because if this is him at his best it’s worrying.

I think Kakay is a superior tackler to Kane and covers his man better defensively. Going forward, however, Kane is superior. I think they'll spell each other, unless one gets injured. | | | |

Fair performance so far
In control without being overly threatening
Couple bounces here and there could have had a goal - only Rooney chance for them
Kane looking like he wants keep his place. Dieng seems so sound - I never worry at all re himself (Stupid to say that - second half blooper !!!)
Not quite there with the final ball as yet but they seem to be playing within themselves - ie they must be more of a threat in second half - think Derby players have decided to go into lockdown early...
We are definitely better than them currently but only a limited goal threat thus as of yet..

A good half in the context of the training game that this appears to be. So QPR to be playing well and getting nil.
As always, doubtful whether the oppo will be this bad in the second half. Think we missed an opportunity here.
Although we've had a load more shots, one great save each keeper and one lucky escape for WRDCFC when Marshall went walkabout.
