Adaptation of a book of a true story from late 90’s in Canada
Some interesting diversions off from main story and quite shocking all this could go on in fairly sleepy towns. Also made me realise the whole world has had feral kids and nutters in it for decades |  |

Agree with you, I thought it was brilliantly scripted and acted.
The scenes in the last episode where Cromwell runs rings around his accusers in the kangaroo court while knowing all the time that no matter how right he may be he’s doomed anyway, were absolutely riveting. | | | |

Landman on Paramount + is superb. Another Taylor Sheridan project (Yellowstone, Special Ops: Lioness, Tulsa King) and it's been fantastic so far. Worth watching just for Billy Bob Thornton chewing up scenes as he continuously puts out fires in his day job running an oil company for a billionaire played by Jon Hamm. Superb cast - Ali Larter looks great as Billy's ex-wife - and the hook in the first episode is one of the best I've ever seen. Hopefully it continues to be this good throughout. |  | | |

I can't think of a better actor currently working than Mark Rylance. He hardly needs to say anything - his face and eyes are so expressive. Thomas Cromwell was cruel and vengeful yet as portrayed by Rylance I felt sorry for him. | | | |
