I may be on my own here and I didn't see the game but having watched us for over 35 years I can guess the type of performance it was. I believe that the 4-3-2-1 if played correctly can be very attacking. I also think we certainly have the attacking players to make it work. But those same players have to take responsibility for it to work. Ramsay can only send them out there with a plan its up to them to execute it. |

im judging from what ive seen since Febuary , Ramsey has had Arrys team and now his own , he has had probabley the second highest budget in the league, this is now his team , so no excusues , but lets break it down to this year as we who have a go are only allowed to judge from this year , so
We have conceded 2 goals every home game , we continue to isolate our star player
we cannot defend and nor do we look like keeping clean sheets, there is no plan B,
choice of subs is shocking, taking his best 2 players off in 3 home games now,
being outwitted by dougie freedman, our play is pedestrian , he cannot or will not change systems, the constant picking of Henry , being dumped out of the league cup by a struggling div 2 team
these are all valid points, its not absurd that we have debates, the man isnt good enough to manage QPR pure & simple,
i get we need change, i get we need to start again but it doesnt mean we have to settle for 10th best in Ramsey who is bang out of his depth | |

This all a bit chicken and egg. It's the mangers job to make the players play. Infact one of Mourinhos greatest traits is his ability to motivate millionaires. I really want Ramsay to suceed but watching Henry and Tozer attempting to marshall a back four at home is it really necessary aside from the fact that it's not working. The point i'm making is that the decision to play this way is the managers. Ok 4231 has the potential to be attacking but on available evidence it isn't for us. I agree the players need to step up and when they came out at half time they looked like they had stepped up a gear. That said this system doesn't work at home. That was Blacburn who i believe haven't won a game. | | | |

so why didnt we go through an interview process , that way maybe then we could have got a bloke in who knows what he is doing , we didnt and went with mr cheap
a real waste considering some of the managers who may have been avaliable
you can play well and lose , thats fine , you have the odd blip or 3 during the season thats fine but Ramsey has had since Feb now to sort out at least the back four into a unit , he has failed miserabley at that, when do the excuses stop ?? its his team now ,

Ultimately, at the moment we're 8th in the table, with 11 points from 7 games which is OK for a recently relegated and rebuilt team.
I personally think the cracks and Ramsey's limitations are starting to show, but if he can sort his team odd team selections and in game tactics out we have ample quality to push for promotion. | | | |

OK granted, the manager has a role to play in terms of motivating the players but surely they can also motivate themselves a bit? You know, take some pride in their work. I'm making a general point here by the way.
